Who knows? Of course they would have a new game for the Wii showing that it can't handle DLC or stuff like that...

As for PS3 and 360, they are DLC compatible, but we may never know if they can get DLC themes...so our best bet is to just get the Wii versions or something.

I can think of Wii games with DLC. Mega Man 9, DJ Hero... that's actually all i know.

The Wii game I can think of with DLC is Rock Band, but I think that's by virtue of the 360 and PS3 versions having DLC

"Just Dance 2" also have DLC. Then again, the songs of the DLC are encrypted inside of the Disc.

Wait, why only for the Wii? I've been thinking, didn't Naoki at one point say something about releasing a downloadable DDR game? What if the songs on DDR II for the Wii end up as DLC for the PS3? You never know...

I think the reason Konami is focusing more on the Wii is the lack of interest of DDR on other system as of THIS point in time compared to the Wii. The Wii has had 4 successful releases and is the system for movement based games. The Kinect and PS Move are neat but they've barely made a dent in people's mind for what motion based games should be like. The PS2 is official unsupported by Sony and it's long dead. Also, the DDR main line arcade series is borrowing more and more from the Wii games with jun boss song crossovers, introducing Rena into the AC series. The Wii version also has more to do with the AC version with the coverflow interface, (not sure if the PS version had the dark mod), etc.

I have nothing against the PS3 or Xbox360, but I think Konami would rather focus their energies developing a really great DDR game on the system that makes the most sales rather than spreading their resources across 3 systems for a sub par game.

Yes. Wii does support DLC, and recent Rock Band/Guitar Hero games let you stream DLC off an SD card

Just because they aren't announcing a game for the PS3/360 doesn't mean they aren't making one. Remember that last year's DDR PS3 game did not make an appearance at E3 and wasn't even shown off until August.

It sucks... with no DLC you would think it would be at least 70+

and Wii DDR continues to disappoint...

Why are you all so shocked? 60 is about the maximum we've ever gotten for a Wii game.
