X3's announcement comes as there are exactly and only 13 reported Betson DDRX2's currently out in the wild

on that note, I sure hope there are more than 13 new KO's to listen to, not counting any that may cross over from DDR 2010

Sad, but I prefer the game thrive in Japan at least and have regular release cycles while leaving the West to flounder around with awful equipment rather than waiting for the game to become playable here, because that will take a few decades at this rate.

What a surprise. It's called X3 even if Max, Extreme USA and Supernova were repeated twice. It kinda reminds me of the Xbox versions and I didn't expect that Japan would be the one to introduce it first.

I do find it strange that this showed up while DDR X2 JP still has no CS release.

Edit: X3 kinda sounds off though. I remember someone making a joke out of it by posting a fan made logo of DDR X3 with a silhouette of a pole dancer.
