@Hooky: Don't get it. RCT1 and 2 are much better.
As for this thread, I'd have to say Game Tycoon. We got it and it ended up not working. We also called the manufacturer to no avail. They said that we must have broken the game ourselves, but we hadn't even opened it yet. >_<

Bleach Versus Crusade was a waste of $65 It is a little bit fun if played with friends, but it just sucks as a game for one-player and the battles are extremely repetitive. The only thing it has going for it is the mapping of the levels.
Good to know. I was thinking of getting that game.Speaking of Bleach, Bleach: Shattered Blade is awful and I don't know why I shelled out $25 for it. Pretty much everything about it sucks.
Yeha, BVC has only good graphics for the Wii. The gameplay is pretty much spamming ranged attacks and dashing around the arena until someone hits you for a 2-4 hit combo. The transformations look good, but the transformation process usually looks crap except for people like Byakuya and Grimmjow.

I'd have to say that it's my PSP. Before the stone-throwing begins, let me explain. I bought that thing on launch date out of pure excitement, yet it ended up being used mostly for emulators and old games. Don't get me wrong, I DID played some of the best games for the system (Dissidia, Crisis Core, God of War, DJ Max, etc), but honestly, it was stuff that would have been better on the PS2. Now my ipod, THAT'S what portable gaming should be. Not to mention that it doubles as an (very portable and pocket friendly) mp3 player or an internet/facebook device. Sorry, I'm an Apple fan
lol

Awww, Double Dash was by far my favorite Mario Kart. So many options with characters and co-op capabilities and it had my favorite Rainbow Road. I wish I could have played more with the co-op mode with good players. But to each their own I guess.
RCT3 looked really cool and looked like it could be the best one if I could just figure out the damn interface. 1 & 2 are still among my favorite games though

I just felt like RCT3 looked too much like Sim Coaster or w/e.
1 & 2 felt more realistic.

Portal 2, because now I need a new video card for Windows 7 and I also need to buy RCT3 again.
If you can run TF2, running Portal 2 shouldn't be too much different. Also, I'm with Astroman, RCT1 and 2 were the better games of the series IMO. The third one wasn't bad, it just wasn't the same to me as the older versions.
I think the worst impulse buy I had was getting Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. I played that game for 20 minutes and never played it since. The game felt uninspired, half done and not to mention boring.
I think the absolute worst impulse buy I've had to this date is my laptop. As soon as I had enough money saved up, I bought the first laptop I thought was "good". I barely did any comparisons. It's okay, but I know if I waited a little longer I could of got something much better.

So I don't really have a bad impulse buy... yet.

I've got another one:
This one Pac-Man Party game for the PS2 which had this one character from Tekken (Heihachi or w/e), uuuhhh this other guy from Soul Caliber (completely forgot his name...he wields a huge axe/scythe sometimes), this one girl from a Ridge Racer game (idk :/) and more...along with Pac-Man and Mrs. Pac-Man.
It's like the worst "Mario Party" clone ever, the game can either take too long or too short but the minigames are just...boring. But like not "Mario Party boring but then your friends start making it fun", no no this was just mind-boggling boring. i played with a few friends, never played it again, i never even "beat" the game because it took so damn long.

The Rock Band 3 keyboard.
Yes, it was tons of fun, but in the end I've come to the realisation that I've just spent £70 on a controller I don't use.

I had a ton of impulse buys on the N64 (Waieaie Golf lol wtf?) But the one that took the cake was Mortal Kombat 4. Everyone has the same 5 button combo and the graphics were pure barf compared to the arcade, but just as boring.

Do you guys remember the days that Flea Markets used to just give away NES games (Carts)?

lol yeah, now they're $20-$30 a pop. Seriously? Just give me an emulator, or even legally, $5 for an NES game on my Wii.

I'd love to defend DDR X2 CS... but I can't. xP Just seems like there are even worse things to spend money on like DDR PS3.
Aaaanyway.
Years back, I bought a Shadow the hedgehog plushie which is adorable except it had just come out and I bought it not knowing the price would go down to like $15 from... don't even remember how much I paid, like $50 or something. ;>_>
Buying Animal Crossing City Folk new was pretty dumb for me just because I knew I let those games rot but I wanted early on for the voice chat... which I never used.
And like half the anime I own is stuff that either wasn't good or I never plan on being interested in again. 'Specially Di Gi Charat's little collector's box 'cause I knew nothing about the anime (or that there was more than one), I'd just read some manga and it wound up being the really really old anime and like one DVD's worth of really short episodes in a fancy looking box or something. And the CD didn't even come with the good Party Night, boo. xP

I bought AC:WW at launch. I played it for a few months, lost it for almost a year, found it again and played it nonstop until Animal Crossing City Folk came out.... Now I don't play either. However I wouldn't say it was a bad buy since I not only played it alone but played it online a lot.

You can use some special homebrew that are signed (which works on go even if it's unkacked). Some of them allows to use other homebrew or emulator or games... :p
I don't really know about the go because i have my old PSP2000 :3

"Nature: Naughty" |
Holy shit Sak, your post reminded me of a "pure shit" anime that I blew my money on at A-Kon last year: Comic Party. The description on the box went as follows...
"Comedy? Conventions? Parody? Surely, this anime was made JUST FOR ME."
As it turns out, Comic Party would be the most unfunny "comedy" I've ever had the misfortune of watching. Twisting the knife further was the fact that I foolishly assumed I would enjoy it and also bought the sequel series, Comic Party Revolution, at the same time. That went about as well as you would guess.
Quote
Join the Comic Party, and follow Kazuki as his journey takes him through the steps to becoming a master fan comic author - while spoofing everything along the way! From Gundam to Evangelion, from Initial D to Wedding Peach; if it's part of the anime world, it's all fair game!
