All songs are on Heavy.

Do It Right 80's Electro is a challenge-only song.

Oh, and when I asked about the life meter setting that goes up to 8, I was referring to the setting in the options menu where the life meter can be set so that it drains faster -- 8 means the life meter is depleted by only a few misses -- not the battery meter. Do I need to set my life meter depletion setting back to 4 (medium)?
Then i guess we may be doing some Challenge-only songs that feel like Heavy charts? Idk, i'm just going to follow the course songlist and not complain about it Tongue

Hey, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a mistake or anythingHappy' If all songs are supposed to be heavy, then we would have to play the other Do It Right.

I added the foot rating of each song in brackets next to it's name, incase there was any confusion over which difficulty we're playing it on ^^;

Actually, both versions of Do It Right are the same foot-rating. I'm assuming all the song titles are correct, so that means every song will be either heavy or challenge, not just heavy. I didn't mean to make a big deal out of this.

I also just noticed that Ghosts is part of the list, so I guess that makes four songs I can't passSad

Make sure your copy of the game is using the default difficulty settings. Make sure you don't lower the difficulty, and that the game fails you immediately, if you run out of life bar.

So, do all options need to be default? I have booing and the corner arrows turned off.

This could be fun Big Grin It's been a while since I've played Max2US

Name : Nick
Starting weight : 240 (yeah, I'm fat). I'll have to double-check this. I'll update.
Play level : 10+ (I can usually pass ITG 12s and maybe some 13s on a good day)

Format being used for the challenge (PS2/SM) : PS2
What is your “main” dancing game? (DDR/Pump/ITG) : I play ITG and DDR equally
How many hours of do you normally play a week? 5-20
Soft Mat or Hard Mat? : hard
Do you normally Bracket when you play? : Depends what you mean by bracket. I'm not going to start this argument again since this isn't the place for it, but I'm going to say no. I do flatfoot though.
Do you play with a bar? : usually. I've can do world tour no bar without dying, so iono if I'll use it for this.
How many of the 40 songs do you expect to pass after 4 weeks? all

Edit: by "default difficulty options", he means the lifebar options. The life difficulty should be set at 4.

Edit 2: Is it ok if we just jump into the second course? Instead of adding 5 songs at a time, can we do all 20 in those weeks?

Name: Axel
Starting weight : 129 lbs.
Play level : 9~10 old scale, up to some 15 on X scale.

Format being used for the challenge (PS2/SM): SM
What is your “main” dancing game? (DDR/Pump/ITG): DDR

Soft Mat or Hard Mat?: Soft.
Do you normally Bracket when you play?: No.

"Toasty!"
Unfortunately I'm gonna have to cancel my sing-up for this one. My PS2 pad is broken and there is now way to play anything similar to nonstop in DDR on PS3 except for Club Mode and that's all random including the difficulty level. If I just played in Free Play Mode I would have to do individual songs and that wouldn't count. Plus there would be no way to accurately calculate my results to fit the specifications of this thread. Thanks Tyma for all the help, but there is no way for me to participate any more.

Soft Mat or Hard Mat? : Now it's a soft mat. >:
Do you normally Bracket when you play? : I think I can on a soft mat.

So we should post the results for Week 1 before the end of this week?

Alright, I can't take this anymore. I'm going to get a pad and do this first chance I get. I don't have a soft pad for the PC yet, can you make a course for either Hottest Party 3 or DDR 2010 Wii? I can play back to back courses easily. I think there are 6 courses I can customize for a total of 36 songs.

Name : Travis
Starting weight : 205
Play level : X-scale 16

Format being used for the challenge (PS2/SM) : SM
What is your “main” dancing game? (DDR/Pump/ITG) : DDR
How many hours of do you normally play a week? 3 hours (at once)
Soft Mat or Hard Mat? : soft
Do you normally Bracket when you play? : no
Do you play with a bar? : no
How many of the 40 songs do you expect to pass after 4 weeks? All of them after 1 attempt.

I just got drunk with my housemate, watching wrestling, and we've both decided to stay up for another 5 hours, to get drunk and watch the next live episode. My first attempt at the course could be nasty :{

I made a course for the PS3 version of Hottest Party 4 course for Android, and I've PM'd it to you.

If you don't have any of those DLC songs, let me know? You can substitute them for other songs of the same step rating, as long as you stay away from ridiculously under-rated stuff like Crazy Love.

Ya know what? I think I'll try this!

Name : Fruit
Starting weight : 135 lbs
Play level : 9s and 10s

Format being used for the challenge (PS2/SM) : PS2
What is your “main” dancing game? (DDR/Pump/ITG) : DDR
How many hours of do you normally play a week? Around 3 or 4.
Soft Mat or Hard Mat? : Hard Mat
Do you normally Bracket when you play? : Nope.
Do you play with a bar? : No.
How many of the 40 songs do you expect to pass after 4 weeks? I think that honestly, I'll be able to finish all 40 by the end of the 4 weeks. The only problem would be that my mat's right arrow is a little iffy, so the score won't be exact. But it won't cause me to fail, so I should be good.

Just to clarify :

Bracketing is :

* Placing your feet in a way that allows you to cover 2 panels with the same foot (one panel with the toes and one panel with the heel), so that you don't have to move your foot from the middle of one panel to the middle of the other panel.

or

* Sliding your foot from one panel to another, without lifting it.

I'm not sure if the second method is called bracketing, but it serves the same purpose : pressing arrows in a any way that doesn't require lifting your foot off the center or one panel, and placing it near the center of another panel.

My name is Ryan Gudonis, but you can call me xRGTMx for short. I weigh 190 pounds, and I can play up to a 10 difficulty (17 difficulty on X scale). I can use either StepMania or PS2, but I'd rather go with a PS2. My "main" dancing game is DDR X2. I play every now and then, but along with playing DDR, I swim. I have a metal pad. I never bracket. I bar/no bar. And HELL YEAH I WILL PLAY ALL FORTY OF THOSE FUCKING SONGS.
