Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... PSP2

It is code named NGP (next generation portable) and is set to be out at the end of this year. Sony as calmed it will be up to par with PS3 graphics. The games will be in a small flash memory based card, dedicated for NGP software titles. The cards will store full game titles and add-on game content or save data. Games shown where Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet and Call of Duty. NGP will also have trophy's like the PS3 as well. It is also have Six-axis motion sensing in it too.
The screen will also be touch screen as you see here

It will also have "Live Arena", which is pretty much the NGP's version of the PlayStation store. It will also have 3G.
Now we flip the thing over
This is the PlayStation Suite. This is a to play your PlayStation games on a smartphone or tablet and will be their new unified gaming platform for Android 2.3.
If the price is fair, 3DS might be in some trouble. (Info taken from http://psp.ign.com/articles/114/1146358p1.html)

I am curious about the PSP titles? Does that means all PSP titles we owned useless in PSP2 (NGP) since they have ditched the UMD feature?...

I think that former PSP games may go digital and end up being in the Playstation Store
While reading about the PSP2 (or NGP) & knowing the starter gamelist. It looks really nice so far. From what I heard though is there's no way to charge the battery

Unless Sony has a way of giving us the games we own on UMD as a free download, I won't purchase this, especially given the ridiculous prices they charge. For example, a digital download of Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 is 29.99USD. I bought a UMD copy of the same game for 9.99USD. I don't feel like spending $10 for a game, only to find out I have to spend another $30 to buy it again.

While this is a nice product for the hardcore gamer or the tech gadget geek, this is a little over the top for a lot of video game players who play handhelds. Plus, the PSP2 really lacks "wow this is new/different" factor. Everything mentioned so far exists in other products and Sony's "we'll have one device that does everything" mantra isn't a appealing with other products doing the same thing on the market. 3DS promises 3D gaming without the 3D glasses and being a 3D camera which I'm sure I've never seen an affordable one on the market. I can't say if this will be enough, but I'll definitely have to "wait and see" so to speak.
Of course, it all boils down to the games. Which console delivers fun games people love. Now that the PSP2 has a touch screen it can harness on the innovative games that NDS has been enjoying for years now

It can't possibly compete with the Pandora for hardcore gamers or tech geeks. The only advantage Sony has is that the Pandora is sold out worldwide, and has a 3-month waiting list.

But the thing is, a hardcore gamer may not care about this if they're not into emulation. While the Pandora is a beast, it doesn't have big game companies like Sega, Konami or Sony developing games for it (as far as I know). It's basically a tiny netbook with controller built into the keyboard.

I couldn't agree with you more! Being able to buy games through amazon has been a life saver. I've been able to buy games while still being able to fund my college years. If I have to start paying full retail price I don't know what I'll do. You are right though, the price of game on PSN rarely go down when they are psp games. When they do the price drop is still more expensive then that of many retailers. It boils down to content for me... And probably everyone else. The N3DS has more of a pull towards it because of the 3d gimmick

On the 3DS, money shoots out of the screen
