DanceDanceRevolution PS3 Trophy Guide (Complete!!, last updated 12/08/2010)

To let you know I have activated a level 6 trick and it did nothing as far as that hidden trophy. I wish it did, took me forever to get one song at max level.

Can someone quickly explain to me the vj mode trophy? I have no clue what its asking of me. I feel slow. All I'm missing after that is 1000 combo, club master, 2 players with move and the hard to figure out hidden trophy. Thanks :] btw whatever hidden trophy that is, its a silver. I'm more than sure it has to be lol. So it shouldn't be too difficult...I hope. lol

Yeah, it's a Silver. I'm at 97% and the hidden trophy is my last one.

- Personal Club mode ran for over 115 stages. (it should be noted no actual play was performed. I just let the PS3 run on its own while I went to see Harry Potter 7 ha ha!)

OMG!!! I did the EXACT same thing! I was at Stage 167 when I got back!

- Played a 4 song set with Reverse turned on in Other Clubs mode.

I can tell you that this doesn't work either. I had it set to 20 and Cleared it. Nothing.

By the ways is there a trick level that activates Challenge difficulty?

Yeah. I got it one time randomly playing We Are Family. I was like "Woah, that's new." I Cleared it and nothing showed up. But yeah, I can confirm that there's a trick level for this as well.

More info: I was missing one New York EVOLVED types on my list when I checked Training Mode. I unlocked it in FREE PLAY MODE, then went back to Training Mode and set ALL of the songs as my favorite. When I exited, the game autosaved, but still nothing showed up. Are there only just three types of New York EVOLVED? I only have A, B & C.

For the VJ Mode Trophy, go into Move and Step. During a song, hold down the Move controller's trigger and press any of the face buttons to change the video effect on-screen. That's basically it, haha.

I set the stages to 10 in Club Mode and was able to FULL COMBO all of the songs. Still nothing. Going to try to FC Club Mode with the songs set to 20. Wish me luck -.-

Okay club master is aggravating me -.- always get a random good by the time i get to the 4th song. I almost FC'd a 20 song run but messed up on 15 or so :[

Argh I really hate hidden trophies. I fully support the idea of hidden trophies to hide story spoilers, where they're at the beginning and it's obvious how to get them. But when they're scattered throughout the trophy list and nobody has any clue how to get them, it does nothing but piss off all the people who support this game from the beginning.

I remember when video games were so hard they made me angry (Super Mario LandBlast CorpHalo on Legendary). That's why I look back on them with fond memories.

Well shucks, I thought I had a good idea for the trophy but it proved inadeque. I played personal club mode to the point of 2 trillion points, which did nothing. Only took 333 stages to reach such a score (though I did take moderate breaks). I am rather convinced now that personal club mode has nothing to do with the last hidden trophy, and only in Other Clubs does the secret remain...

Has anybody full combo'd a 20 song run yet? I have a feeling that's it :/

I haven't yet, but I shall work on it.

I almost did but on the 19th song I lost my combo because of the chain arrow.

Chain arrow? Are there chain arrows in higher trick levels in Club Mode? My maximum level for any song is level 4 right now which I have not really seen in action too much so far.

As for a 20 song full combo I doubt that is the key. Considering they have asked for a 1000 combo and to do a 20 song set in two separate trophies. However once someone does do it please give a shout. If this is the trophy I might as well reset my system data just to even have a chance at getting this trophy.

Has anyone taken the time to max out all songs status bars yet? I have yet to even find New York evolved itself in Others Club Mode despite many return trips. It seems song selection is focused on the current condition of every song's status which makes it surprising that I have not found New York Evolved (because it has 0% status). But then again it may just be random. Any other thoughts to how Club Mode works in terms of song selection? Also anyone have any observations to how to fill status bars, I am trying to determine if it is steps or points that is the benefactor to filling song status. Depending on which it is, determines how important it is to use Groove Trigger.

I did take a bit of a desperate act and posted in the official DanceDanceRevolution facebook page asking if Konami would be so kind to post hints on how to obtain this trophy but I doubt they will answer, however that is the only source that I know to ever get any answers from Konami about DDR these days...

Well I think I have done everything possible for right now, other than continue to fill status bars.

Is it confirmed that the only way to get club master is a full great combo on a 4 song run?
I hope the Facebook method yields results for this time consuming and almost impossible to figure out hidden trophy.

I went as far as even posting my picture on Konami's wall on Facebook. Check it out whenever you get the chance.

I got up to Stage 18 before breaking my combo. My Life Would Suck Without You just has those tedious freeze steps and that knocked me off. Also, I can confirm that not using Groove Trigger during the entire 20 song run doesn't work. I had a 5300 combo before it broke. Oh well, I'll try again later. I can't do a bunch of runs in one sitting. It gets WAY too tedious.

Well finally found New York Evolved in other clubs so I now start getting stats on that. However I did have a stupid inspiration. Has anyone played all three versions of New York Evolved in any given mode (expect training mode no doubt)? Sound crazy but its an idea to look into I would think... Okay I just made sure I did it at least in Free Play and I have. So if New York Evolved is involved in any way with this trophy there is only a few options I can think of:

Play all three versions in other clubs mode (on multiple sittings) (highly doubt it)
Play all three versions in personal club mode on a single sitting (still doubtful)

other than that it could be a specific grade ranking AAA or higher for Expert or higher (still doubt it), in the end it is unlikely that New York Evolved itself would be involved but I still suggest trying to play with it if possible.

Another theory: The trophy could be glitched? I don't know, but I'm thinking that as well.

It's probably some weird requirement that nobody has thought of. I doubt it's glitched; none of the other trophies were. We should e-mail Konami and ask them what it is...
