What songs have had their ratings changed?

Nemesis S- 8 (Ultramix) -> 7 (Universe 2)
Matsuri (J-Summer Mix) S- 9 (Ultramix) -> 8 (Universe 2)
What Is Love? S- 7 (Ultramix) -> 6 (take a wild guess)

Aren't those three on Uni2 the UM1 steps with the Festival ratings?

Also the Matsuri J-SUMMER Ultramix chart is horrible, jus' sayin'.

IIRC, they didnt downgrade anything, they just went with classic ratings. like 8s for EOTC and drop out. either way, i didnt appreciate the inconsistency.

B4U (B4 ZA BEAT MIX) S- - 8 (MAX2?) -> 7 (Extreme US)

They downgraded SKY HIGH; it was never a 6 until Universe. Can't recall if there are others they did as well.


I don't believe Challenge was ever an 8.

True. If came from Euromix 2 (which had full charts) and was a 7. Universe had a special 8 chart though.

Also the problem with SKY HIGH is that there are two of them. And I can't tell the bloody difference.

EDIT: NEMESIS was a 7 on Ultramix, then re-written as an 8 on Festival, then they reverted to the Universe steps they put it back on Universe 2. I think INFINITE PRAYER was returned to a 7 but used the Festival steps... my recollection of Universe 2 is clearly really shoddy. It's kind of a mess with the ratings, I think SOMETHING WONDERFUL also has its Festival chart, but others don't...

IIRC, it kept the MAX 2 chart (Euromix 2 chart), but got all new - charts in UNIVERSE. The chart in UNIVERSE was rated 8.

I remember Paranoia KCET on DDR PS1 = 6 = 7 = 8

But on PS2 and next console (Starting from MAX2 ARC) it changed = 5 = 7 = 9

Wonderland UKS MIX on 3rd Mix 4 6 7 But on Extreme USA PS2 and = 5 = 7

Same too for DO ME Higeo Mix from 3 / 6 / 9 to 5 / 7 / 8

One is awesome, the other kept getting repeated throughout the series for some unknown reason...

Personally, I liked both of the DJ Miko and Lucyfer versions.

The SN ratings were really bad considering the fact thet Light could've passed for a *2*.

Not to mention, on X, is rated 4, as in, they rated it harder than but didn't swap them. Then again, there are a bunch of songs where it is rated higher on lower difficulties (not counting Challenge, obviously).

This song (however horrible it is) was altered so much that there're THREE different S- and S- charts each, and two each of S- and D-, D-, and D-. The S- for all of them are different from each other, especially the SuperNOVA S- chart.

I remember in the Asian version of DDR 3rd Mix, Upside Down was a 1-footer. It's a 3-footer on other versions. Never seen the 1-footer stepchart though.

It was stepped by DDRUK, it's a different, easier chart.

Funk Boogie is one of the only songs that had its original ratings go DOWN on X. The S- is rated a 4 (which would translate to about a 2 on the old scale); it was originally a 5, IIRC.

Also, I think there was a list on BemaniWIKI that showed the ratings of all the songs on X and how they changed from Supernova 2 to the location tests of X, and then to X itself. Can't remember most of the ratings offhand, but I think KI-SE-KI S- was an 11.

SUNKISS DROP having a rating of 7 and Pluto Relinquish having a rating of 8 (does anyone remember this glitch?) in DDR SN2 was...misleading, to say the least.

Thank God for DDR X.
