What mods do you use? (Also, mod challenge?)

I usually use at least two of 1.5x, Boost and Reverse. If I feel up for a challenge, I'd replace Boost with Brake.

i generally play DDR modless, as i generally play oni.

on ITG, x3 cel.

2x everything 100-250 bpm
2.5x on songs 100-200 bpm with dense note clusters like roppongi Evolved
3x on stuff under 100 bpm

1.5x everything 250-350 bpm
1x everything above that

I usually use Note or Solo/Rainbow. Occasionally I use Vivid if the background is too bright for either (such as Kimono Princess on Hottest Party 3)

If I'm in the mood:
Boost + Hidden + Flat + 2x.

I don't generally do mods on any music game.

(This means I totally suck at IIDX and Guitar Freaks, of course)

When im playing at the arcades i generally go modless.

At home however I like playing on 1.5x or 2x depending on the song

3x on everything up to about 160 bpm on DDR, 2x for 170-220, 1.5x for everything else. I also always use solo (or note if I'm playing SN1/SN2).

Note/solo and whatever amount of x needed to make the BPM between 300 and 400. (mostly 2x)

1.5x-2x, Rainbow, Reverse.

Kept it this way when I found out about Extra Stage stuff.

Can you set Brake in the options?

1.5 x for songs at about 280 bpm, 2x for almost everything else with rainbow.

On X2 and (possibly) X you can.

Sometimes I use reverse or I use 1.5x flat.

But for high bpm songs like Faxx, PR, I usualy use no speed mods.

Tried playing on sudden today. Was too hard
Extreme seems to have a very small window for the arrows to appear. I think I'd do better playing Hidden TBH.
Still, got a B on that dai ken ko :char whatever metal song I've never bothered learning the name of it.

Might try playing in reverse from now on though. Seems like a pretty easy mod to get to learn.

I usually play only DDRMAX2 and DDR X, mods are different so..

DDRMAX2:
x2 (below 250 BPM)
1.5 (above 250 BPM)
Reverse & DARK if EXTRA STAGE
Sometimes I use SOLO too but the screen isn't too good for SOLO anymore..

DDR X:
Depends on my mood, I can use x2, x2.5, or even x3.
x2 for songs above 160 BPM
x2.5 for songs around 135-159 BPM
x3 for 0-134 BPM

RAINBOW or NOTE for noteskins
Darkest Screen Filter.

Played a couple of songs on hidden today. Was actually pretty cool. I normally read quite far down the screen anyway, so I found it quite easy. Ended up with a AA on r3 and So Deep hea: Also played extra stage and got a AA on A hea:

2x for anything with a few 16th's. 1.5x for songs with pretty much only 8ths like Max 300.
1.5x for Everything else, even Pluto Relinquish which is the best song in the game and totally doesn't cause kittens to die.
