And of course all Bemani nowadays runs on PC with different spec (all running Windows XP embedded); IIDX since 9th style, Pop'n since 15, GFDM since V4, DDR since X. Those are closest to an Xbox360 in terms of hardware, really...
It's already running on PC hardware, why not just make a consumer port for the PC? The hardware specs are only that of a computer from 2006 (even earlier) plus there would already be a connection for content to download and multiplayer

Not a good idea to be honest, we usually don't have our PCs connected to our TVs which are usually much larger than our monitors.

I personally think that Sirius CS will most likely be released on the PS3. Question is: will an American PS3 play Sirius CS without modding. Hmm....

PS3s are not region locked for PS3 games; no matter what region your PS3 is, it will play any other region's PS3 games.

This ^I'm hoping Konami will overlook that aspect entirely.

Wii doesn't upscale to 1080p, so 480p on Wii stretched out on a HDTV screen would look terrible for IIDX, it's only a small step up from 480i which is what the PS2 currently uses for NTSC games.
The arcade version does that for its display.Quote: al2k4
Wii has 720x480 output, if you put it on a 1920x1080 TV, the TV has to work to upscale to that level.
PS3 has 1920x1080 output, with game already upscaled in the PS3, put that on a 1920x1080 TV, the TV doesn't have to do any extra work.

The arcade version of IIDX (to my greatest extent of knowledge) runs in a 640x480 resolution. So this means that not only is it scaled larger, but also wider.
I am not trying to start any further discussion on this, but it's merely to point out some similarities.
Me, I am rooting for the version to go on the PS3 as well as it requires no modding, just importing (and having myself get a PS3, but I see that as a good thing and definitely better than modding).
I see it landing on the Xbox as a horrible thing to happen because as Tyma said, 360 accessories are expensive >_> (35 bucks for a frail headset!!!??? COME ON!!) Just imagine how expensive those IIDX controllers would be! Actually, I'd rather not

Beside that, Xbox and its community give of this weird vibe. I can't actually describe it, but all I know is it feels unwelcoming to others and new games that "clash" against games they think "rock". It could be those ads that are spammed everywhere too

Just because Microsoft overprices all their 360 accessories doesn't mean Konami will. Harmonix and Activision certainly didn't, at least not compared to their PS3 counterparts.
I want IIDX Sirius to be on the PS3, and I don't even own one.

Same here. The PS3 seems to be the one console that looks the best fitting to put the IIDX CSs.If Sirius goes to PS3, I will buy the PS3 with no doubt. On top of that, I would get a nifty Blu-ray player
