Dump. Dump. Dump. Another one bites the dust!

Look, I don't know what's in Konami's think tank right now, but they're blowing shit BIG TIME lately. Dropping talent left and right, sub-par releases... really, WTF?

You're acting as if it's Konami's fault that Yamaoka is leaving. This is Yamaoka's decision, not Konami's.

Yeah, he's been at Konami for 20 years and it IS a job after all, he probably wants to do other stuff.

Oh, so this story is true after all? What a shame, but all good things must come to an end.
See you later Akira Yamaoka, these sexy Your Rain splits are for you!

That concludes my Akira Yamaoka tribute.

Second Konami employee in a row to have their final Bemani song simply named after themselves..
If we get a DDR X2 song called "Teranoid - Kors K", then I'm going to be worried :{

Actually, his last song was Fetish Paper on IIDX SIRIUS, not Yamaoka Akira no Quiz.Anyways, I'll miss him. I enjoyed most of his songs

According to stepchart pattern, it doesn't feel hard as usual 9 footer songs.

Akira Yamaoka left from Konami = songs from him will be removed on X2 JP ARC.

Not necessarily. Tatsh's songs are still on all BEMANI. Depends on the conditions under which AKIRA YAMAOKA produced his songs for KONAMI.

Only if he decides to do so, and it also depends on what kind of contractual arrangements he has with Konami/Bemani and the songs he has contributed to them.
Also, it is important to note that i feel... SP

At this point, we don't know. Though I'm almost positive that they were in the test AC for DDR X2. We'll see whether his songs will be removed in the final version when it's released.

Probably not. They still use TaQ's songs, and he :
a) Left Konami on bad terms.
b) Apparantly owns the rights to some of the songs they still use.
c) Was found guilty of plagiarism.
d) Released a CD of IIDX songs to capitolise on the game's success, within days of everyone realising he'd cut ties with Konami.
The only artist they've really ever written completely out of the game was Shindou Atsushi, who was probably more popular at the time than Kors K or dj TAKA have ever been. Since then, every song removal has apparantly been because the licensing contracts changed, and Konami didn't think it was worth the money to renew them. I don't think any songs ever get removed out of spite for the artist.

Whoa there, care to explain all that stuff about TaQ? I consider myself to be sort of a "bemani guru" but that I was totally oblivious to that. Also, who was Shindou Atsushi (under which nicknames he made songs)?
