In Peru, It was confirmed a case of a 27 years old aged woman from Argentina (she probably got contagied when she was in Mexico this monday) . Also, It's the first case of Swine Flu confirmed in South America.

I'm glad nobody here is really panicking too much about this, but I feel like I have to get something straight.
You CANNOT get the swine flu from eating pork, ham, or any other pig-product. That's not how it works. It's only transferrable from person to person, it simply originated in pigs, and then mutated to fit humans. Our agriculture/biology teacher told us all about it today.
In other words, when the media tries to magnify something for commercial gain, they don't always tell the truth. And now, the pig farmers are the ones who are getting the bad end of it.
Stay clean.

Okay, now that's being ridiculous.It's seriously nothing to be really worried about. It has the same effect as the flu that comes and goes every year. Most cases in the US have been very mild cases, with the only death being a 2 year old, which by the way has an underdeveloped immune system, which would have died from any flu if given the same environment.
Stop making this so much worse than it should be.

...i just heard that there was a case in Florida just recently...
...not too worried about it unless it hits my county, then i might get worried >_>

Yeah, there has been at least 1 possible case in my state. I don't know if the lab tests have come back yet.

So, according to the paper, they renamed Swine Flu; it is now called Influenza A.
