I always thought they where listed as to what songs where done first when they where first making the game, thats what I thought, so I guess I was wrong XD
I was thinking that they just placed the songs on how they would sound based on the songs it's in between. It's hard to explain but, think of Extreme 2. Boom Boom Dollar, Butterfly, Captain Jack and Cartoon Heroes are all next to each other at 170 BPM. Going from Butterfly to Captain Jack doesn't make it seem like "Wow, this is a really fast song!" because you heard two others already at that speed so it takes away from the song preview...
While MAX has alot of various BPM's next to each other and even if they are the same speed, they sound different so it makes it sound more appealing.

That's what I thought but It wouldn't really make sense to do it that way >_<

Yeah, it's a little weird how all the speed remixes are all next to each other, but then again, it gives a "group" feel. That, and you can easily find the songs on Extreme 2's list.Post #24 · Posted at 2009-01-23 11:39:23am 16.4 years ago

Uh...those songs are all placed ALPHABETICALLY, among all the licenses.

Extreme US is sorted by ABC order by default. It makes the ABC sorting rather pointless.

I know that... I was just trying to get my point across on how I thought MAX was sorted..
