It's happened before. We never got Star Ocean 1 until it was remade recently for the PSP.

I'm surprised the Asian markets are getting this game to begin with, but are all Asian (non-Japanese) games labeled NTSC/J (see upper right corner of box art)?

Eh it happens. Sonic Drift for the Sega Game Gear was never released outside of Japan, but Sonic Drift 2 was.

Not necessarily. There are what? 69 songs before DLC on Universe 3? The Chinese product page promises "over 60 songs in English and over 20 Chinese songs". That sounds like just about the whole original game is going to make it through. How much you wanna bet that this game will totally pull an Unleashed series and not only read the US save data but also the DLC.

From what I am seeing Chinese/Asian versions tend not to be locked. I guess we'll know all about it... oh real soon on the 23rd of this month. lol How funny!

I hope this sparks a new revolution for DDR; I loved the Korean AC versions, and it'd be totally awesome to have a union of AC licenses from North America, Asia, and Europe!

If anything, it'll be like the DS Xbox versions, i.e. some of the licenses are replaced by a new set of licenses.

Not only those 5! If you go to the songs page, it lists some artists in English. All of those artists are from the other game. Why? Because there's gonna be some more songs coming over (That Once Upon a Time song too unfortunately). So, if Ii'm right, then the following would also be on here:

I'm curious as to why this thread was unstuck when the game hasn't been released yet, just delayed a bit. To that, I've noticed the official product page now says May 9, 2008... I'm thinking that 2008 is a typo because didn't it used to say December 18, 2008? It still does on another part of the site.

Play Asia seems to think the bundle is set for April, as indicated on their own product page:

So despite the delays it looks like this game is still a go. Scanning some Chinese gaming forums shows a number of gamers questioning why it's not already out.

The databases DDR Online Community uses left the data in and I got it confirmed by somebody who handles the gamedata for U3
