Okay, I'll do Silver Dream's steps tonight. But it won't be for a few hours. I've still got some stuff I need to finish up at work, then I need to get in my hour or so of DDR.
The bpm is 192 for most of it, but there's a 96 section late in the song, and one stop. I can make a video of it like I did for tE last year, but I'm pretty sure someone on youtube has already done a screen video of it.

I think it's funny that you want the chart even though you dislike the steps too.

this should be easy cause unlike hp1, in hp2, afaik, theres no speed changes or stops in anything other than the boss songs (which sucks)

I'm pretty sure there's a stop in a non boss song. Can't remember which one right now though.

I'm about to start work on Silver Dream, should have the steps in a couple hours. Unless I decide to sleep instead.

Okay, I'd rather sleep, but I've got the Beginner and Basic steps done. Will post when I have the other difficulties completed.


One other thing: If you're working on a simfile, post saying so. Please, only work on one simfile at a time. I'll maintain a list of who's working on what in the first post of this thread. No reserving songs ahead of time, if you want to do a song, then finish the one you're on quicker (but don't compromise quality because of this).

Okay, Silver Dream stepped.
Note the half speed section (measures 44 and 45) is at 96. It then jumps back to full speed at measure 46.
There is a stop at measure 50 that I think last for 4 beats. The time for it will of course have to be set more accurately once the bpm is set accurately.

Crappy double stepping aside, It looks like CARTOON HEROES on steroids (just like Super Samurai...). I can see where they got the idea for the gallops and the freeze arrow jacks. Then there are the clusters of 16th notes that kill. I love that staircase though.

I passed. Note: passed. It definitely feels like a 10 on the pad (to me). I actually felt the rhythm of the gallops for the most part. The 16th clusters was a bit crazy. Then there was the part where I tried to spin and nearly failed. Very Happy

Now here are the issues:

For the life of me, I can't find out if it's on sync or not. There are so many rhythms in the song going at once that at one point, it's sounds synced, another point, it's a little off.

I reduced the stop to 1.23 and it sounds correct. The freeze arrow ending seemed a little off at 1.25. The gallops also maintain their full rhythm at 1.23.

The song is insane.

Oh yeah, I added my own half-assed generic banner and BG from Al's 10th anniversary wallpaper. Laughing Hard

Good job passing. Now add a 50% invisible mod to the theme you're using, and switch to a vivid noteskin. Then pass it again.

I'm downloading the simfile to check it out.

Okay, to me, it's off by ~1/8th. Don't use the expert chart for syncing if you have trouble doing it. Use the beginner or basic chart, and just concentrate on hitting on the beat.
Also, play with a lower speed mod than usual, and stick it on Dark, things that normally make me concentrate on the beat more.

As far offsync as it is, i'm surprised you passed it.

Seriously, it's the rhythm that's keeping me confused. I was following something in the song while playing it. What it was, I don't know but it was good enough to pass.

I didn't use a speed mod for syncing it. However, I will try dark. Offset .040 and .060 seem to work and I also tried to use the difficult chart to sync. Was the stop you put down perfect or did it just seem like a good number?

I played it a couple times and counted beats during the stop. It should be 4 beats, so that the 8th after it matches the prominent sounds after it.

Played SD again to confirm, and I'm sure it's a 4 beat stop.

Also unlocked and played oE. That one's going to be hard to sync. There's a part that's definitely 50, a part that's definitely 300, and a part that might be 250 or so, and part that might be 75, and part that might be 150.

I need help with the last measure for Kyoka Sugetsu-Row. Other then that is done, and maybe someone can sync it better then I could, working superhero and dessert journey for now.

To unlock osaka, just play through the groove arena again, this time select challenge the first time you go back to it. Same general idea as what they did in HP 1. It'll take a couple hours to get to it, but it's not hard to get.
