Why Konami decided to use a different title?(!!) -フルフル♪パーティー instead of Hottest Party 2-
Because HP2 sucks and they didn't want to put shame in the Hottest Party name?

Hey there, I have an update for you guys on FuruFuru Party. (FULL FULL Party eyeroll! I can't wait for KONAMI to fix that obvious romanization error!)
Anyway, Famitsu has revealed that the game will have a J-POP track list collection. (Thank god, I would be more than happy to see many of those horrible covers from HP2 go the way of the dodo!)
Two songs were revealed! No artists were revealed, so we can assume that they're covers.
アナタボシ (Anataboshi) - original by Milky Way! Watch in YouTube!
CRAZY GONNA CRAZY - original by TRF Watch it on YouTube!
Man, two J-POP songs I enjoy! (Especially the classic CRAZY GONNA CRAZY!) KONAMI, please make up for the travesty of CALL ON ME.
When will my bitter broken heart from X/HP2 ever heal? *sniffle* (lol I think it may be time to start healing and look forward to Disney Grooves and FuruFuru Party!)
I'll keep you guys posted if anything else is revealed. (Gimme points!
) I really hope someone like MIEYA will be at TGS to check out more of the potential new tracks!

Furu Furu Party
This site provides more details on FURU FURU Party's exclusive music. Apparently it will be linking up with Avex to use music from its "House Nation" series of albums.
House Nation
You can listen to some previews of songs from one of the albums here.

Holy crap on a stick. CALL ON ME is on the house nation CDs... I guess that means the horrible cover on HP2 will surely live on in Japan.
Either way, it's exciting that a DDR game will be once again teaming up with a dance music compilation series... and this time, with AVEX! O_O
Anyway, here's a listing of all of house nation's discography with tracklists: http://housenation.jp/discography/
It's also worth noting that the game will still use a collection of J-POP tunes

Does this mean BeForU may get on the game?

Yeah, because the HP2 covers are just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. It's the Japanese version anyways, it's not surprising that they would want to put in popular Japanese songs.

Possibly, but they are not signed with Avex anymore, and I don't see any of their songs on the House Nation CDs, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't get my hopes up on seeing any of their avex material... and why would anyone want it? I love BeForU, but the majority of their avex material was terrible! No wonder avex dropped them like a bag of stinky turds!
Now, let's talk post-avex BeForU!! Man... if SHANGRI-LA were to somehow grace FuruFuru Party with it's wonderful presence, that would be quite SUPER!
I would even take a cover of the original by Denki Groove! It's a fine song! (Although I would prefer a cover with female vocals! lol KONAMI, put MAKI to work on this one!)
I'm really excited to see what J-POP covers they would select from. I could probably take a good stab at guessing what some of them might be. If there's a lot of them, they'll probably get "standards" that every rhythm game has to have for some reason such as Sakuranbo, Natsu Matsuri, LOVE Machine, Cutie Honey, etc. and a selection of popular contemporary songs such as Kiseki, that Thelma Aoyama song (one of the Soba ni blah blah things), Anataboshi (Oh wait, lol!), etc.
Oh my god, I am so excited about this HOUSE NATION thing that I-*KABOOM! EXPLODES!* O_O HAHA!! I'll take the time to mention the Discography section from the HOUSE NATION site again http://housenation.jp/discography/ Check out the track list for their BEST HITS album "Best Gig", those might be the top contenders to show up in this game.
I went out and found a small selection of HOUSE NATION tracks from Best Gig on YouTube for you guys to listen and get hyped up about!
Heavenly Star (HOUSE NATION Remix) / Genki Rockets
The Weekend (DAISHI DANCE HOUSE NATION Remix) / Michael Grey
Part Of Your World / Q;indivi (This is the original version of the cover, the HOUSE NATION remix doesn't sound all that different from this. Still worth a listen! *awesome*)
Call On Me (Eric Prydz vs. Retarded Funk Mix) / Eric Prydz
Enjoy!

"I did nothing wrong." |
When I looked at the title, I honestly though it said DDR: FFR.
Wut? Dance Dance Revolution: Flash Flash Revolution Edition?
But then I read further and then I noticed that all it was was a JAP version of HP2. Meh, I'll get it.
