I also appreciate that it appears to be separate level folders for each decimal rating, that's something jubeat doesn't do (unless they added it in Beyond the Ave.) which makes scrolling through the 9s and 10s a pain.

e: If I'm reading the Japanese correctly, it looks like they're splitting 17s into two categories (I guess 17.0 and 17.5) and everything above that gets all ten decimals.

Today's info drop: Appeal Boards, Appeal Parts, and an explanation of how Volforce will transfer from Exceed Gear.




Appeal Boards are a new customization feature with new backgrounds and stickers known as Appeal Parts. You can get Appeal Parts by spending Packets (back from Heavenly Haven) at the Parts Generator... In other words, it's a free gacha using currency you get from just playing the game.

To summarize the Volforce changes, in most cases players' Volforce will increase due to charts getting re-rated with added decimal values. The Volforce bonus for achieving a UC is also being increased. However, Redo the Night GRV and She Turns Me On GRV are getting rerated downwards, so if your Volforce is reliant on scores from those charts, it will decrease come Nabla. None of these changes to your Volforce will happen immediately but will instead happen as you play the game; there will be a Volforce Potential folder that will show the target score you need to hit in order to update your Volforce to Nabla's system.

Are these tweaked charts going to get some new revision? It's also strange that some of high end level 19 like Dyscontrolled and Blastix Riots, Reminiscence and 666 got tweaked. I wonder what would they be

Also, based on preview, with I and Insecticide (with current rating is 18D) being 18.4, I'm pretty sure that Joyeuse VVD surely is 18.9. maybe some charts like Shockwave EXH, Unleashed Redness MXM or that power ranger jacket will be around 18.8

The hardest 19 ones like Dyscontrolled, Nebula Grasper or Xronial Xero are going to be 18.9

I just wondering for some ambiguous charts like Daiuchuu stage, Booth of Fighters, Daisycutter, and Sacrifice and such thing - I wonder what would Konmai define their fixed difficulties later

Hardest 20 would be Sudden Death. Knowing Konmai patterns when hardest chart released at KAC, I'm going to predict it will be at 20.8

It's out, and people are already documenting their findings. Among them are...

- Joyeuse VVD is now a 19.3 (F for the meme), Dyscontrolled Galaxy is now 17.5 and 19.8 on EXH and MXM, and SuddeNDeath EXH is now a 19.1.
- If you invert the Early/Late colours, the colours for the BPM/lanespeed display also invert. (This is going to suck ass for me )
- I was watching pote try to speedrun his way to Imperial IV by loading into his Top 50 charts and immediately crashing out of them, and he got up to 22.991... And then his credit ended and when he came back he was sent back down to 22.330. So there's some kind of bug involving updating your Volforce from Exceed Gear, but we don't know the exact details.
- The ending for 777 Vocal Mix MXM is NASTY.

YOOOOO, OMG. I THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY JOKE. KONMAI IS REALLY CONSISTENT THIS TIME.
(sorry for caps lock, but man.. I never thought Konmai would be consistent and all out this time)

Basically, from what I saw from pote streaming, She turns me on GRV & Redo the night GRV being downgraded to 17

19.9 are Xeno Gravity, Nebula Dysorder, and Kaiji
18.9 from what I saw are Verflucht, Shockwave and that Joyeuse sequel, Aerial Fortress

Also, to be fair, I prefer number fonts and perfect status (UC, PUC)on Exceed Gear. Those feels too casual for me

And I've been seeing reports of American arcades beginning to get the update now. Y'all have fun down there! Gonna see if I can't make a daytrip to Seattle or something to get my own kicks in.


To their credit they're now 17.5's... To be honest with you She Turns Me On GRV doesn't feel like a 17.5; it's more like a 17.8 or 17.9. I kinda do wish they went with more granularity on the 17's and then divided the 16's into 16.0's and 16.5's.

One thing that's puzzling me is that instead of Nabla marquees, arcades are receiving generic Sound Voltex marquees instead. Even the official render of the cabinet shows it with one.


Are we just done with version-specific marquees for SDVX now? But Pop'n is still getting them, as is IIDX...

Not supported on NEMSYS cabinets. So Arcade operators in Europe/US will have to install a touchscreen to their cabinets and people will ruin it... What a shame.

Wait, not being supported on old cabinets, really?
As at one time it's good to get new and fresher cabinet, it also means that we're not getting Nabla upgrade soon (at my place). And yes, I bet it's going to be more expensive per credit later
