Do you have a version with X-Scale ratings? I'm thinking you don't, but I figure there's not harm in asking

Honestly, I don't think anybody has asked yet. Otherwise, I've only been reticent because I still don't 'get' the X-Scale and I just don't like it.

But to each their own. I gave it a shot and you can download the updated .sm/.ssc's in a zip here. You should just be able to extract them to Songs/FloorFiller - DIAMOND DISCO (or whatever you named your folder) to overwrite the existing files with the X-Scale difficulties. I did my best to throw these together, but if you still think they're off... I dunno, change them to whatever you think is right!

Just wanted to let you know that I just got a dance pad a couple months back, and I've been playing DIAMOND DISCO nonstop. Great songs. Great steps. Thank you so much for putting this together.

Do you have any other projects? I'd love to get those too for my collection!

It's certainly been a while. This month marks three years since my final update to this series, and a lot has happened personally since then. (I got married! I bought a house! I started a new career! I had to start taking Rogaine! Wait... what? I thought I had more time on that last one...) All this is to say that free time is in much scarcer supply than when I started working on this in 2020. But I'm back with an update, albeit a bittersweet one.

A few years ago, I had every intent of releasing a '2nd Mix' of sorts and started working on it a few months after wrapping up this project. I wanted to do things slightly differently though, and was hoping to release everything at once in one completed mix instead of the 'song pack' format, mostly because I hate the feeling of having a publicly unfinished project lingering over my head.

Needless to say, the project never reached completion. With each song I added, I felt like things were becoming more and more unfinished, and the pack has all but been scrapped. I'm now left with a pile of about 80 simfiles in varying levels of completion and quality. Some of them are not so good. Others are, frankly, absolute bangers and I hate that they've been left to collect dust.

In my accepting that this 2nd Mix is almost certainly never coming to fruition, I've decided to start releasing selections of what I think are the best files from that project as a collection of 'bonus songs' of sorts. Some of these are some of my favorite simfiles I've ever made, and I'm super excited to finally share them with you. I'll be releasing them over the next few weeks here in mini songpacks. As for how many songs? I dunno, whatever I'm vibing with. It's all bonus content, we're getting real loose with things.

But, without further ado...




I'm especially excited to share this first pack with you. These three are my personal favorites from the upcoming bunch, and I really wanted to give them their chance in the spotlight without being overshadowed by more popular song choices (Especially Forever Baby, which might be my favorite sim I've ever made). I hope you have as much fun playing these as I did making them.

An update to Diamond Disco was not on my bingo card for 2025 lol. Congrats on getting married! This project has been one of my favorites and while 2nd mix didnt work out, Im excited to see the best of that project that didnt happen slowly come out. Cant wait to dive in and play these!
