i'd like to have them, that'd save me a lot of time. quite frankly i'm not too familiar with the newest ddr games or the x-scale so it's likely your guess is better than mine. i will consult with others about the x-scale rating for the 9-10 footers before releasing anything.
Dope, I'll PM you the files in a few. I only have singles rated since I'm not really familiar with doubles.

Since Lisek brought up the topic of errors, I noticed that Apocolypse ~dirge of swans~'s BGA goes offsync just over halfway through. I know that this is due to a cut in the middle of the song, though.

thank you, please report anything else you find. i've been working on some new cuts using higher quality audio for a bunch of songs (which should fix some slight sync issues). the next update will include these fixes, 3.9 compatibility and x-scale ratings.
edit: the update is coming along smoothly and should be released sometime this week. there are so many changes you'll probably have to redownload the whole thing when it's done.

the site just was updated with a bunch of files. http://nddro.mistrust.com
- first off, two songs were brought back to ddrmax3, previously removed because they were featured in ddr universe 3, but people wanted the ddrmax3 versions anyway.

- by me
- and finally, some old files from old friends

site updated with 29 more songs enjoy

there will also be a patch that changes all of ddrmax3 to use x-scale, but by default everything we do will use the old 1-10 scale
Nooooooo!

our files very rarely go above old scale 10, and they're mostly like old school ddr, so that's what we use. in any case all of these include a separate x-scale rating file, you just have to drag and drop it into the folder. it's slightly inconvenient but i dunno what else to do.

I have to say, I've been a HUGE fan of nDDRo ever since forever ago. I even have some of the original files from back then that are since been lost to time and I'm thankful I still have them, and it's really amazing to see this stuff revived and given new life with updates to the old stuff and new files being made. It truly warms my heart and I thank you titln for keeping this alive

May I ask if there is at least one song that uses step timing? If none, I suggest to remove all ssc files and just leave sm files. ssc files are just redundant if it doesn't use step timing.

none of them do. having ssc and sm files is intentional. the ssc files are there so sm5 reads them, and sm3.9 will instead read the sm file. there are differences in background images and videos (widescreen images and videos of varying quality, background video sequences that use features only available in sm5, etc)Post #36 · Posted at 2022-10-03 01:47:29am 1.6 years ago
Sm5 and even Outfox can still load sm files in case you forgot. SM5 additional background settings can also be applied to sm files.
It can also help to easily distinguish which songs used steps timing (ssc) and which songs are not (sm).

the ssc files are there because i specifically do not want sm5 and outfox to load the sm files. the sm files are intended for 3.9 to read (4:3 background files, removed background settings that break background sequences in 3.9, etc). the ssc files are for sm5 to read. the separate files are for aesthetics and none of the stepfiles use ssc exclusive gimmicks.
