It seems that most download sites that were posted are either shut down, or the files are no longer available.
The original files on OneDrive don't seem to be affected by this, so maybe we should have the files uploaded there so that we won't have to constantly reupload?

You know what? I'm now throwing my hat into the ring (mostly thanks to Project OutFox*)

I managed to download stuff from here of PnM 01-26 before and not only chose the better version (one that has the banners and was well structured) but changed AND added something on top:

Changes:
- All song banners have been upscaled (x2)
- All WAV files have been converted to OGG files (to lower file sizes)
- PNGGauntlet & OptiVorbis have been used for further file size reductions

Additions:
- Almost all songs have their previews added (excluding a bunch of songs within 02-09 and 26 as well as all CS songs within 03-15)
- As of Jan 27th 2025, several missing previews within PNM 26 have been included. Only 3 Songs don't have them because of missing dump/song data.

Unknowns:

- PnM 21 (Sunny Park) and PnM 22 (Lapistoria) received fixes made by me because of nonnumerical values being used in the time signature channel (XXX02) of some songs

*Just as an FYI:
Project OutFox 0.5.0-pre042 and below have problems with measures having non-4/4 time signatures AND having no notes. If one such measure exist, it will be seen as a 4/4, causing a desync. It seems to have been fixed in the upcoming pre043 build once it goes live.

I hate saying this, but the download link for pop'n 15 ADVENTURE is not working in Media Fire. I tried multiple times, but it seems that it's broken.

It seems like the server the file is being stored on might have been unavailable.
I reuploaded it and it now seems to work again (aka is now being stored on a server that is available).
If it happens again, please let me know. This also counts for what I did for BeatMania IIDX.

Also, since I'm here:
If anyone can direct me to anything related to converting arcade data like BIN2PMS or ONE2BMS, I would be able to upload "close to everything" (that has currently been dumped). Otherwise, the only thing I can do is "clean up".

Hi ! I just registered for thanking all of you for those pnm pms!
I stop playing pms some years ago and stop at pnm 23 (I still have a torrent with pms from 01 to 21 : complete pms project 3.0)
It was a blast to get into it again with all those new cool songs ! (and I was missing 22).

But I have a request
Due to my setup and principaly my custom skin and color scheme I pretty much stuck to lunatic rave 2 to playing them
I didnt manage to make those pms convert to ogg working in lunatic rave
Its strange because I already have some ogg songs that works, and when i tried those converted here some sounds work and not other (mainly backing tracks as zzz.ogg dont make any sound)
But i manage to download the .wav version previously post there and they working well

So my request is did someone here have a link for pop'n'music 26 in wav format ?

Or is there a way to convert back to wav the ogg version from here ?
I know how to use ibmsc but I tought if i convert all sound to wav again I have to change all of them in each pms file because the extention .ogg change to .wav (maybe i'm wrong there, I can test it by myself)

Ho! and I cant find a working link for the "insanePMS" pack I had years ago and saddly delete it by mistake, if someone know if its still up there the only thing I've find was a mega link but the download never finish or get cancel dispit using the mega app or jdownloader

Generally speaking it’s not wise to convert ogg (lossy) to wav (lossless), there will be some quality loss and file size increase. But it’s doable with any media converter. Personally when I need to convert I use my media player (MusicBee).

Yeah I know its an absurd process but I tried a lot of thing to get lunatic rave to play those ogg correctly and it never works.
And for the size increase I dont really care its not a big difference for my hard drive.
I will try with one song and batch process the converstion with audacity to see how its goes.
And I will maybe code a small programm to change .ogg to .wav in the .pms file if its need it ( I assume )

Edit : For the record and if someone have the same problem as me, I manage to convert all the files after some testing
it was tricky to not end up with 50mo songs after the wave conversion but by looking at originals pms .wav and find out you need to use "4bit IMA ADPCM" for the wav bit depth as oppose as the classic 16bit pcm
Now the size is reasonable but i'm suspecting some quality loss over the original .ogg but its very hard to tell.
For the audio batch porcessing I used reaper with its very usefull "batch file/item converter" as it can scan sub directory
I used the "overwrite original file" check on a copy of my .ogg pms folder, 44100 HZ sinc interpolation 192pt and 4bit IMA ADPCM.
And for the .pms files I used notepad++ to batch process all the .pms replacing all ".ogg" instance to ".wav"
