They have reasons for putting it in SN2. 1) Barrier Course. 2) It takes a very long time to unlock it in SN; about 5 minutes in SN2. 3) An early boss song you can play around with until you find a way to pass some of the horrendous HMM missions to get the others (I-6, K-8, etc...) I have a feeling this game will be very similar to a Masterpiece Gold for DDR, the reactions of us diehards aside.
It will, however, be nice to see a lot of these songs in one place.
And, a final prediction: This is probably the last PS2 DDR.

About Caramelldansen, pandering to silly internet fads is more of a Ultramix/Universe kind of thing. I would say keep an eye on DDR Universe 3 for that one. :3

Say we do get the planet songs. I'm sure that they'll make that game's Earth song, STARS☆☆☆ (2nd NAOKI's STYLE). Just a prediction, though.
And DDR X wouldn't technically be the 10th mix. SN2 would have been. Here in the states, we've only had 8 PS/PS2 releases.
I do hope this is a catch-up mix like what Ex2 was.
