Well, I did Vertex^2 at x0.7, first attempt, but Pandemonium has stood up to 3 attempts at that speed, so...

To me, Vertex^2 is mostly fluff (a.k.a mines) and not much in the way of substance. Pandemonium is the only song I know that can wear you out by just using two arrows.

I guess I'm going to have to upload the "official" charts for Hasse Mich and PFB for evaluation.

Well, they aren't the "official" charts because nobody knows what the ITG3 charts look like. Though Dream to Nightmare and Disconnected Hardkore aren't official either, so i guess you should still put them up. Also, what about VVV?

Plus, mines or not, the ending to Vertex^2 is WAY harder than anything in Pandy so...

Actually, I just think people overthink the ending to Vertex^2. Granted, gallops at 555 bpm aren't exactly easy to do but a 200+ arrow death stream with a single freeze arrow that lasts for about a second as a rest in the middle isn't exactly a walk in the park either.

Then the jumps... oh god the jumps >_<

Triple V was never in ITG3 so we can't say anything about that. Sounds deadly though and the PIU chart looks like you play on your knees.

On expert, the 555 section is in fact very hard tho.

To me, Pandy is steadily very hard throuout the song, while Vertex^2 kinda fluctuates between easy and impossible.

viper: I admit the ending of Vertex^2 is harder than any individual thing, but it's short enough to be survivable, even if you can't actually perform it well. Pandemonium, you have to perform it well, without losing your stamina, or you won't make it. I guess this is really just a "stamina difficutly" vs "PA difficutly" disagreement. Vertex^2 has parts that are really hard to PA (the end, the section with the random thumps), but they're so infrequent that they don't really drain you. Pandy though, is like having a sink full of water, and pulling the plug at the bottom. You just watch your stamina drain away until nothing is left, then you fail.
I guess my point is that stamina is a bigger barrier than PA for me, so I consider Pandy harder.

too bad Konami didnt wait till ITG3 came out before pulling the plug. I'll bet it would've had something that is hands down harder than both of em.

With FELMDemon's posting of Hasse Mich and Pink Fuzzy Bunnies, I shall add them to the list tomorrow after I have played them. Unless someone protests, I'll add them to the list where I think they belong based on their difficulty. If that's not acceptable, I'll add them to the middle.

Hasse Mich is almost more painful than Pandemonium i think, 12th note clusters at almost 300BPM is not fun

Hasse Mich doesn't throw death streams or jump attacks on a constant basis so I don't think it really measures up. I don't really think that we should even keep ITG3 songs in this list. There isn't exactly proof that theses are real per se so we can't judge.
