Seeing the details it’s rather vast how many songs are planned to be on it. But the icky subscription model rears it’s ugly head and the whole setup looks stupid. The music player isn’t all that impressive since it’s rather easy to to find BEMANI albums online for free. This would have been better suited for jubeat, end plus completely and have a model like this where it’s got songs from the first game up to festo.

So wait.... is this out on Android right now? Is it coming to iOS?
It’s subscription model is very confusing but it does seem like you get some decent play for free.

The Android page is up, but it's not out yet. (I'm pretty sure iOS is planned)It’s subscription model is very confusing but it does seem like you get some decent play for free.
And you might get some decent play if you don't mind playing only Normal charts; Hyper and Another are tied to the two subscription tiers.
I imagine a big reason this exists is to appeal to new people on a storefront that they can randomly find the game (because only people already acquainted with the game are going to find the e-amusement Cloud games).

That makes sense I didn’t see the part about the difficulties being tied to subscriptions. Thank you for the clarification!

-Pay more (ULTIMATE) to play literally unplayable higher difficulty songs on mobile touchscreen devices.
-Entry Model controllers are extremely limited (and are the only likely way to even play higher difficulty songs legitimately)
-Music Player......same concept as Apple Music (subscription based music player), blech!
-Game View...unexplained and likely nothing groundbreaking
...very STUPID NOW!, but I expected nothing less from Konami.

Another reason why I can’t trust them to make a “proper” CS game anymore. They’ll find a way to tie in something unconsumer to fuck it up. Metal Gear Survive, a game that’s primarily a single player experience won’t run without an internet connection and has e amusement style downtimes albeit being only once a week.

This is a hot trashy mess! Screw you Konami! And they include the soundtracks in the monthly sub service when I have all the soundtracks for free on my PC that I bought and they expect players to pay monthly for access to them??? WTF is this crap!
Come on this game is a flop out the door. Why is anyone excited for this or is willing to give this a chance when Konami could provide so much better for it's playerbase and I know people feel the same way as me. Konami is making this very easy to not support and give them my money, this is crap. I hate this so much. Infinitas is bad with paying and grinding for revivals, this is even worse with unoptimized performance issues, no keysounding and hyper and another charts locked behind a damn pay wall. This makes me sad. Let people have their opinions? People should be trashing this business model and it's screwing all of us out of a good experience. But fine, you wanna support this garbage platform, be my damn guests. Everything that made IIDX great Konami just threw out the damn window. This is sad.

@djjeff anyways konami could do better yes but again what do you expect tbh, what you could do is at least probably let some more people at least try it out or show some excitement, this is a crummy business model but unless if it's actually harmful (crappy subscription services aren't hint hint, they're just bad in terms of quality), you can just brush the game off and leave other people alone, no need to ruthlessly attack and tear at others you know

Sorry SHOW SOME EXCITEMENT!? HA! I will not show excitement for a failure of the game and you will not tell me how to feel pal. Who the hell do you think you are??? I'm sorry but have you seen this games business model, what's going on with it and the features? This is nothing to get excited about! This is trash. And I wish more people would wake up.

Those have been freely available on youtube for a while now in HD quality, that's no excuse.

There's some kind of irony in repeatedly telling someone to let people have their opinion while simultaneously trying to stop said person from giving their opinion. I wonder what Random is trying to accomplish with this.

it's fine if you think it's trash but stating it like a fact when others might like the business model (ugh) will say otherwise :x, and the same goes for the game overall in general
and if you don't show excitement for the game, it's ok, the issue i'm taking with you here is how you expressed the problem bc I can't tell you how to feel for sure, but later you just said "i wish more people would wake up" as if people should follow yours (correct me if this isn't was your intention on with those words) so you kinda come off across with bad vibes to me and probably others (like finalfan)

Honestly, I don't see the point of people getting angry at mobile rhythm games that aren't 100% arcade-accurate these days. The only other thing I could think of is people getting angry that opening a mobile port of an arcade rhythm game doesn't magically turn the phone into a full-blown cabinet.
I understand that there will be necessary compromises in order to port an arcade rhythm game to a mobile platform, so getting rid of keysounds in ULTIMATE MOBILE seems like a reasonable move. Storing keysounds as separate audio files looks a bit silly for mobile devices because they'll probably take up more data storage space, and triggering keysounds at the exact moments on an Android app may be a lot more complicated when you consider the fact that Android is open-source and is available in millions of different phone and tablet models under different brands, thus audio delay values vary per device. It's not a one-size-fits-all scenario like iOS.
Also, the subscription model doesn't look too bad. I mean, some NORMAL charts are already hard enough for newbie players to comprehend (and KONAMI hasn't even mentioned about the BEGINNER charts in the app yet), so having them available for free should suffice enough for them to get used to the game before paying a monthly fee to step it up.
So yeah. Have your opinions all you want, but please keep it civil.
Oh, and one more thing:
Okay, then what? You want KONAMI to stop putting out OST's of BEMANI games with exclusive Long Version tracks that people are willing to buy simply because you heard the in-game cut on YouTube before?
