Unless all those turn out to be unlockables in the end, we all share that thought.

I know I shouldn't have any hope for this game, but Challenge could still be an unlock or DLC. There is quite a bit of unused space below Expert on the song select screen, quite similar to how beatmania US had that space to the right of Hyper before Another is unlocked. bmUS's manual didn't mention Another either.

I don't wanna start rumors but somebody posted on a youtube video that Naoki himself said that there will be many unlockables includeing hidden modes, songs and other play features and plenty of DLC

If there's no doubles, I'm not buying this. Plain and simple.

Today i was searching youtube for DDR PS3 and such and it was in the comments give me a second ill try to find it

This was the latest post by him, its kinda open to interpetaion but he goes on to state more.
1 day ago @djdeivyh might not have double play or edit mode unless you can unlock it or buy it... naoki says to unlock features you have to play club mode.

Like i said i don't wanna start rumors but it seems like some unlocks may be more then just songs "features" Is a preety darn broad term.
He also says he asked Naoki about Briliant RED Being in the game or something along those lines and his response was maybe as PS3 DLC...
I really hope this game shapes itself up.

I vote we all message Naoki and Konami and get us some answers

If this were true, it would be nice, but there has to be a point where some stuff should really be available by default. Some of this stuff seems fairly standard.

But I guess we cannot give a final damning judgement until the game is out. Hopefully one of the unlockables is the ability to make the in-game interface not a rainbow-explosion-seizure-thon.

Yes, yes he is. Rather, he was. He was banned from here and bms. I wouldn't believe anything that comes from him since he likes to pull the same stunts that cecil/rednek/doorflinger used to do. (blah blah told me that so-and-so was gonna be in the game)

I'm just gonna wait until a poor fool Max buys the game to get more info.

Just got word that a couple of Gamestop's have NOT received any shipment today from Konami, and that it's possible that the games might be shipped later tonight or sometime tomorrow, POSSIBLY making the release date the 17th, instead of the 16th.

I suggest for those of you who ARE planning on picking it up on street date to call your local Gamestop/Game provider to see if they have received their stuff from Konami.

So is the Wii version supposed to be mostly identical to the PS3 version? Is there an XBox 360 version?

It will probably work like every other DDR game. SHIPS on Tuesday, in stores Wednesday. In fact, I can't think of any of the games that were in store on release day

Wii version is apparently identical but obviously lacks DLC.

There is no XBox360 version at this point, though its existence hasn't been denied either. I wouldn't say NAOKI has confirmed it, but he has said it is a possibility.
