Is it going to fix the stupid thing that you HAVE TO PLAY SINGLES to unlock saber wing head shot mix on extra stage?

It better! this is getting dumb. It Is good to see they are fixing somethings but i still think there is a lot of things that need to be worked out.

How about displaying the song record like in SN2? huh?
I know machine is saving the scores but its not showing them.

Also not sure if this was mentioned but Paranoia X-special and trip machine x-special can be played now on extra stage WITHOUT having to play a first mix song.

And more importantly, on saturday the lag issue was fixed to upgrade machines via e-amuse.

If you can play any song to get Paranoia and Trip Machine X-Special, and there are 2nd mix X-Specials, how does it decide which one you play?

Or does beating one make the next available for ES?

Interesting nugget from BEMANIwiki...

The CUT option has been expanded to two options. CUT1 removes all notes except 4th notes. CUT2 removes all notes except 4th AND 8th notes.

That's pretty neat. Hold up...I just thought of something.

What if someone used CUT on a song like Fascination MAXX? Would it cut all of those notes that aren't quite on beat?

Doesn't help much with songs like FAXX, Chaos, and Konoko.

When I first saw the option that would eliminate everything but quarter notes, I thought it would approximate offbeat steps to quarter notes, provided that there were any close by.

I think there should be an option like that. On Universe, the All Jump and All Freeze mods don't take every single arrow and replace them, they approximate and delete some of the steps to allow for realistic difficulty.

This new option would prevent a song from losing its flow and allow a less skilled player to get a better feel of the song.

But never remove the original so that freestylers can walk off the pad while Sync is devoid of quarter notes.

Pretty decent chart; easier than it's Expert counterpart.

To be honest.... You can play Paranoia X-Special and Trip Machine X-Special even if your machine is not connected to e-amuse.

But we still need to play a 1st mix song though. <--- I just played Make It Better

It seems the online update has gone out. For anyone playing on an e-amuse connected machine, could you please let us know of any changes made?

Here's a few things I got from 2ch

-Surrender Your Love appears to have been fixed (It was scrolling at the wrong BPM before, causing the stepchart to be off and end long before the song did).

-There seems to be "colors" attached to the option screen regarding what difficulty you're selecting. Still not quite sure what the person is talking about.

Sorry, there is nothing happen when you play a 2nd mix songs and enter the extra stage.

According to BEMANIwiki, some mistakes with edits have been fixed with the update. This includes a bug which would not allow CELEBRATE NITE to show up on the edit list.

You can move the entire DATA BANK existed in DDR ExtraMix and 5th Mix into DDRX: yes
You can move your whole bunch of edits in any DDR (since 2nd ReMix) to X: yes
You have only 5 library pages: yes (why?)
You can only USB export 1 library page: I don't know. /DDR_EDIT/DDR_EDIT_J.DAT is a 242 kb file, regarding the number of edits introduced on your library)

Anyone could be play any OLD song in DDRX? Try using edit data existed in "ye old data bank" DDR ExtraMix and 5th Mix' Data bank.

Haha! That's been around since LUV TO ME (AMD MIX), WILD RUSH, and AM-3P. There's a bunch of songs that has cool effects with. CHAOS and INNOCENCE OF SILENCE each go to less than 40 steps, IIRC. In fact, wasn't there an entire group of songs on SuperNOVA (CS) in SMM -dedicated- to that effect? It wasn't "THE LAST," but it -was- one or two planets before then.

IIRC, chaos beginner cut has no steps at all :p also, matsuri japan standard has a section in the middle something like 30 seconds long with no notes at all.
