You act as if the ITG CS game was so great. Lest we forget the abdominal load times, save corruption error, and completely unnecessary lyric censoring. ITG CS was a turd.

But yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing this game only for the new KOs and their respective stepcharts.

^ Think it had to do with the data being corrupted if it was shut off while saving/loading.

But shouldn't that happen if you do that on any save or load screen?

Bear in mind, all, that I said that stuff like this is why people regard ITG higher than DDR, pretty much everyone who's experienced ITG only has this to compare it to.

Yeah, DDR X2 is terrific in the arcades (in Singapore) and I can only imagine what it feels like to play on a godcab (in Japan). What does the rest of the world get in the arcade? Exactly. I just thought I'd point that out as the timing between D's genuine question and the reveal that the western world is getting... this, is amazing. And also extremely saddening.

Though I'm worried about Japan, too. Their last CS DDR was X (January 2009, almost two years ago). You all are actually getting seasonal releases but they seem nothing more than an afterthought anymore.

The PS2 game really did need to cook more. The PC/Mac release was excellent especially after the ITG2 upgrade pack.

The save corruption error happened when you set your game options a certain way.

But personally I would rather wait 2 or 3 years and get a CS game that has quality packed inside. Quantity never surpasses quality.

You're right. But that was pretty much a filler mix (repeats and Disney ports). So, they're down to once a year and the last one was a side release. There's the assumption of a CS for X2, after everything has been unlocked in the arcade but that's not even a rumour yet. Are they going to 'this' game for the Wii over there as well I wonder? Or are they going to have a cobbling of X2/DDR/the latest pop'n music songs and a .5 upgrade to the current Wii engine kinda like Fit was?

Incorrect, DDR MUSIC FIT had what DDR X2 (PS2) North America had in terms of Konami Originals.

Too early to tell, but the KOs might be the only nice thing to come out of these releases. I hope so.

i'm not sure how you mean that, but UM2 had DLC (not really a music store, but you could buy more songs none the less) and the ability for users to upload edits for others to download. it was the last one i played online though so i dont know if UM3, UM4, or the universe games have the same thing but i spent hours playing people's edits on UM2.
