Yes, DDR X upgrade kits seem to crash a lot.
I really wish the e-amuse network wasn't down between 4am-5am. It always seems like I get my best records between then.
I'll get cracking on videos as soon as I go play.
As for double charts, I'll leave it up to my friend Paranokia . He is insane at 1x no bar on doubles!

On singles, Dance Drill L 6 would drain me a fair amount, but I think I'd pass.
L 7 I'd probably fail somewhere in Arrapeiatta.
On doubles, I could probabaly do L 6, though I haven't played Pluto D-
or iFUTURELIST D-
, so I'm not sure.
L 7 I'd probably fail somewhere in Max 300. Either right before the freeze, or the long stream at the end.
Edit: I looked at the charts closely. Pluto D-
has a good chance of hosing me, even with a cmod. iFUTURELIST might be too hard for me, might not. I can do Eternus D-
, and iFUTURELIST doesn't look too different.

In all honesty, is there actually a point to these Dance Drill courses? Granted that they do look fun, is there a reward for completing all of them/ And wasn't there something said about a level 10 DD? It seems like LV9 already capped the toughest songs. How can they get tougher if a LV10 does exist?

There are harder songs on Singles (the 18s haven't been touched). Dunno how hard FELMO is on Doubles, so I can't comment.Post #3788 · Posted at 2009-02-11 02:53:09am 16.8 years ago

Notice that none of the songs from X have shown up yet. (Unless the first song of L8 is from X. I can't read it.)So, next course, we'll probably see bosses from X.

I didn't notice that there were no new songs in the Dance Drills, that's pretty weird :-/
Also, I'm guessing they have as much point as the Dan courses in IIDX, they just measure what level you're playing at.

I did notice that, since obviously you can't have a high level DD without PRAlso, are there any guesses as to the difficulties of the X-Specials? I have this strange feeling that one of them will surpass even an 18, and if it was one of the X-Specials listed in the master songlist then my bet is on The legend of MAX.

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but here's how the edits work:
-When you play an edit, you have the option whether to register the edit on the machine.
-A machine can hold up to 100 edits. It seems the machine removes/keeps edits based on popularity (as in, less popular ones get pushed out while more popular ones stay)
-The most popular edits will be published on all e-amuse connected machines, with the top 5 being picked every week.
-Edits are separated into three groups. USB, the ones you have on your USB drive at the time, MACHINE, the ones published on machine, and e-Amusement, which is where the nationally published data goes.
-You can play edits of the boss songs when you meet the conditions for getting the boss songs. For example, you can play an edit of the On the Break on final stage etc.
-People on 2ch have been posting links of their edits, but I don't think you can export them to your PS2, only to AC. Sad
.
On another note, the Wii dance routines look a lot better on the X characters IMO.

The HP characters have always seemed too small and skinny to me.

I can definitely see the difference in will. The X AC routine was great even with the lack of backup dancers.
