...Huh? Where are there any 24th rhythms? The steps followed the rappers and the synths. Are you sure that the comment matches Chance It?
Also, I just got 1 miss 2 greats on Lisek's Challenge chart on the second try. Not sure how I pulled that off.

The steps in beat 41.5 (and similar-sounding segments) should have been in 24ths, not 16ths. Sometimes people do put 16ths in place of 24ths to ease up the player, but this chart could benefit with 24ths.

41.500, 48.500 and all similar flourishes have potential 24ths in the synth. I promise that it's there. Also, I just got 1 miss 2 greats on Lisek's Challenge chart on the second try. Not sure how I pulled that off.

I might make an edit chart for Chance It later on. I made a custom background script for Chance It, and there are indeed places 24ths would have been perfect for.
Also, there were places I COULD have used 24ths on on Seedy Try, but I didn't want my first submission to be a 10 footer, so...

Oh... so that's what you meant! The reason I did not make 24th notes, as much as I had wanted to in the early stages of stepping, is that I wanted an easier file, and saw that a Challenge chart wouldn't have done the song too much good since it would bear too much resemblance to the Expert chart. Sorry for not realizing that at first.
So many new simfiles! I might need to delay my vote a little this time around...

To verify I have all of the files, I count how many round B files are in the category and compare how many round B files I have in my ZSS2015 directory. There are currently 15 files. Of course, there will definitely be stragglers that make it just at the last minute, but as long as I have all of the uploaded files when the deadline hits, I won't accidentally leave someone behind.
From there, it takes about an hour to play all of the files.

You mean it's a work in progress, which is why you uploaded everything except the .sm in private?

Well, here are my votes for Round A:, though not every song/chart that I like is represented here:
KagKag +5
Cattleya +3
groovin' +3
Seedy Try +2
SET YOU FREE -FLIP AND FILL REMIX- +2
HM- DIFFUSED REFLECTION
HM- Feel the Beat
HM- LIKE A VIRGIN
HM- Macuilxochitl
HM- Quaver
HM- Rock the Club
(That's probably 3 more honorable mentions than I should have made, but it is not like it matters in the end.)
So, the totals are now:
Cattleya [Telperion] - 61
groovin' [Gameoson] - 56
Feel The Beat [xXMokou98Xx] - 36
Starlight Tracer [Loodee] - 31
Ultra Thizz [xRGTMx] - 29
LIKE A VIRGIN [chewi] - 28
Seedy Try [CuzcoBlocko] - 27
BEAT-NEW-WORLD [mf32892] - 25
Black Light Machine [Lisek] - 21
DIFFUSED REFLECTION [hypnoticmarten77] - 16
Silly Ho [Spork!] - 13
KagKag [ohaiimian] - 10
Chance It [The Legendary DJXYZ] - 7
SET YOU FREE -FLIP & FILL REMIX- [usaminseijin] - 4
quaver [AngledLuffa] - 4
Sharaku [Braeden47] - 4
Tamagotchi [Nezemarth] - 2
Can't Sleep Love [SupremeX] - 1
And here are some thoughts of mine for the heavy/challenge charts (unless otherwise noted) of each file of Round A:

And here are some thoughts of mine for the heavy/challenge charts (unless otherwise noted) of each file of Round A:
BEAT-NEW-WORLD: A pretty good chart in my opinion, so not much to say. I will say, however, that I think that the gallops in measures 78-79 could be more varied.
Black Light Machine: A fun chart, starting from measure 35. As for the beginning, though it felt like maybe it could use some more steps or more jumps, but it is still nice for what it is.
Can't Sleep Love: One of the songs I felt really warranted a challenge chart, given how the heavy chart was stepped. It's good for what it is (though the patterns in measures 12-16 are double-step inducing), but there is quite a bit more that I think can be done with this song, such a more extensive use of 16th notes and the use of 24th notes.
Cattleya: A very nice chart, though I think gallops in measure 35 would have worked nicely.
Chance It: I enjoyed most of the patterns here, though there were some glaring double steps.
DIFFUSED REFLECTION: Again, some nice patterns, but also a fair amount of glaring double steps.
Feel The Beat: In the standard chart, I felt that during measures 17-20, the 'foot' not occupied with the freeze arrows could have been used. The heavy charts had some interesting streams, and other than the potential for some more extensive gallops, I don't really see the need for a challenge chart here.
groovin': A very nice song with very nice charts, and I didn't find anything that could have been done better.
Jumper: Like everyone has said, this was, hands down, the least well-stepped chart of this round
The light chart, while the least offensive, is quite underwhelming except for the speedup part (which I believe doesn't belong in a 4-footer); the beginning has the player in the same direction too often, and it omits arrows in rather strange places. I found it puzzling that the slowdown after the fast section uses only 4th notes (when 8th notes would have made for a better fit), and the normal speed section could have definitely used more jumps. The difficult and expert steps, are however, quite a bit more offensive, especially in the beginning, with severely inconsistent patterns and nonsensical 16ths that lead into jumps (the standard chart, to my shock, has 16th jacks not found in the heavy chart
). Also, the section with the fast BPM remains severely underutilized throughout all difficulties, and no interesting patterns were tried out here
; honestly, as it is, the speed up should not have been placed there in the first place, seeing as how it was hastily placed, and thus completely screws up the sync to the point that off-beat notes have to be used (even in the light difficulty chart) to keep pace. If there is one positive about the standard/heavy charts, then it would in the slowdown right after the fast section, which has some fairly good patterns. Then comes the section after; the standard chart should have had the triplets alternate after each other to avoid double stepping (though personally, I think more should patterns should have been executed), while the heavy chart was very strange and stamina-draining, though I could see someone enjoying it. As for the ending, the heavy chart was pretty good (other than being a while 16th off), but the standard chart was understepped, and I think that a simple 8th stream without jumps would have been better.
KagKag: I absolutely love this chart, though it is true that the chart became offsync due to a slight miscut.
LIKE A VIRGIN: A fun chart for what it is, though I felt that more could be done with it.
Macuilxochitl: L love this song, and for the most part, the stepper did a good job representing all of the patterns in the stepchart (leaving the standard chart as the more understepped alternative), though I do not approve of the 16th jacks, especially the ones with a jump and the ones with three arrows
.
Quaver: A fun chart (since I'm generally a sucker for 8th streams at this speed), but I felt that two jacks could have been used in measures 7-8, that the use of hands was a little bit strange, at that some 16ths should have definitely been sprinkled throughout the song.
Rock the Club: Fantastic, if a little ITG-ish, charts, including a masterful use of slowdowns. One thing I will say is that I think that in measures 9-10, the heavy chart could have used 16th notes to go with the lyrics.
Seedy Try: The heavy chart is cool and involves twisting the body around, as per the stepper's goal. Personally, however, I would have liked to have the 12th section use 24th notes, though it's not that big a quibble.
SET YOU FREE -FLIP & FILL REMIX-: The light chart is fun, but should be rated a 4 for its constant 8th patterns, while the standard chart has a freeze arrow that stops at the exact same beat that another freeze jump appears, which is somewhat awkward. The heavy chart have some glaring double stepping from measures 45-56 (as well as a ridiculous jack at the start of measure 57), but I like how the rest of this chart plays out. As for the challenge chart, there is less double stepping (I only found one instance of it in measure 48), as well as a pretty interesting pattern. An interesting thing I found in the heavy/challenge charts is that the last steps simply do not register on my computer.
sharaku: Nice heavy chart, though there is an unfortunate double step in measure 31 that could have been easily avoided simply by changing the direction of the freeze arrow and mirroring the pattern. As for the challenge chart, I felt that that pattern was simply impossible at such a high speed, but I suppose that some people can actually perform it well.
Silly Ho: Not a fan of this song, but I think you did fairly well with this song.
Ultra Thizz: Some very strange parts, but otherwise a fun chart.
Black Light Machine: A fun chart, starting from measure 35. As for the beginning, though it felt like maybe it could use some more steps or more jumps, but it is still nice for what it is.

Neat song, rough cut (the first half is way more intricate than the second). This killed most of my gimmick inspiration; I didn't want to make the file too lopsided. Also pure 320kbps quality, where "kbps" stands for "kiloblenders, purée setting".
I'll be sitting out next week, since my Thanksgiving vacation will be taking up 5 out of its 7 days

Oh, by the way, about Seedy Try lacking the potential 24ths, they ARE there, they are just when the freeze arrows stop instead of actual steps. I like having the freeze arrow ends sort of match with the music too (Who What Who What is another example of this).
