Official Simfile To-Do List

Anyone think we should update the song backgrounds from DDR X to the current style, i.e., the song's jacket on top of a blurred, darkened, fullscreen copy of itself? In many cases, since the community only had the banners to base them off from, the custom BGs made for those songs long ago wound up not looking like the official jackets once those were introduced in X2. Even most of the SN/SN2 songs were updated thusly, so not sure why X hasn't gotten the same treatment yet.

I second this. In fact, I actually support replacing almost all of the old custom BGs (mainly the 4:3) ones with generic BGs.

And while we're at it, the videos from the DDR SN2 and X categories (e.g. Horatio, PARANOiA ～HADES～) are, for the most part, still using their old 4:3 aspect ratio versions from X instead of the updated 16:9 versions used since A.

Un Deux Trois in the SuperNOVA category was updated to include the Xbox exclusive Oni chart as Challenge (obviously) with a custom X rating. Can we please get this done with the other songs that got Xbox exclusive Oni charts? From looking at Remywiki these are the songs.

As of the latest DDR WORLD update (2024/08/06), NGO has new sync and quantization changes. Would it be possible to have the NGO simfile in the DDR SuperNOVA2 AC category be updated accordingly to have the new quantizations for ?

Hi, everyone. Nice meeting ya, I'll just cut into the chase.

I noticed through some chatting in a Discord conversation that the exclusive DDR PS3 Octo-Mode Challenge charts weren't complete. So I took the liberty to check the complete list (according to RemyWiki)

In short:
-B4U, D2R, HIGHER, PARANOiA and TRIP MACHINE were correct and in it's place. STILL IN MY HEART had a misplaced arrow,
-Transcribed the rest of the set, and double checked them, but please take extra scrutiny in re-checking
-The folders of origin were downloaded from here (if needed I can pinpoint exactly from which folder I used the data from, since a lot of the DDR PS3 songs went into X3vs2nd AC), and I did not touch the sync on any of those.

Therefore, is there a way I can provide a sort of updated version of these as .sm files?

These simfiles may need to be transcribed until someone gets the goodies.
