"...but where's MY machine"
Hey maxninja114: I've already talked to a couple of people at that Gameworks, and they've assured me that although they are planning on getting SN2, it won't be for a while. So, don't get your hopes up. >_>

And welcome to the forums. I'm rather new myself. Surprised

EDIT: wow, there ARE more than one Gameworks in Florida-- there's three! Okay, which one were you referring to then?

SN2 machine present at Dave & Buster's in San Diego, CA. Version number and network status aren't exactly known, but I'm sure that we can all guess what they are. :/

Dude, I went yesterday, and OMG...
It was an experience...
I never liked playing there, but during the week is PERFECT.
Hearing it when no one is there is just like having your own.
It felt like I was playing SN2 for the first time. XD
I've never heard a louder DDR machine!

I had a random thought. It might sound ridiculous, but....

I wonder if there's a way to swap DDRSN2 hard drives. Then just maybe, we can take that HD to Japan (by some miracle) and swap that US hard drive to a JP SN2 machine and make it update...
So in my brief return, I am going to slowly but surely work on a new simfile mix called TEMPEST. Still workin' on it. Preview -->

Doubtful, since the Japanese E-Amuse would try to access certain portions of data on the HDD that would most likely be different on the US version. Maybe it could work, but what US arcade has reliable acquaintances in Japan?

Of course, the HDD must also be taken out of the SN2, and I don't think anyone knows if it's permanently attached, or deatachable, or anything yet. This would also be necessary for hacking the HDD (which I have not given up on possibility of trying when out arcade gets it, BTW Green Grin)

And I still wonder if a third party, not KONAMI or Betson, could set up a US E-Amuse system for KONAMI then everyone can profit? Not that I know of any mass arcade unit distributors besides Betson. Confused

COIN[S]: 1/2? I demand to know where this arcade is. Tongue Our SN1 is 3 coins per credit, and I thought that was good.

My guess would be that you might be able to use the E-Amuse pass on an offline machine's card slots (provided it has one) to save your scores. Maybe. And I do mean maybe, because I've never experienced E-Amuse enabled games.

Or, maybe the scores are saved to the machine if you use E-Amuse, and the scores are retained if an online machine goes back offline?

Other possibility: KONAMI's picture there is outdated, hope not. Sad
