i still don't understand, if people want winning simfiles, why don't you just make a list at the end saying "the winners were blah blah blah" and then people can go look in the category for them... you don't need to repackage them lol seems kinda pointless

That's what the pack is for, so people don't have to look through all the simfiles to pick out the winners. Instead just download the pack and he/she is all set to go.

I took a peek at the Concertino in Blue skeleton; it's got a couple bad values, but it's salvageable. I'll PM you an alternate .sm in a few minutes.

Also whoever I'm paired with this week might need to double-check their stepmania setup - my skeleton is 160ms off. Yes, that's one hundred and sixty milliseconds (given the song's BPM, maybe it's just blue note syndrome?).

Yay, Cash Cash! Everybody loves Cash Cash.

The rhythms used in light through heavy were solid. I loved your spins. Ladies and gentlemen, another cool simfile by Telperion. To whoever submitted this song, good choice.

Verdict: AWESOME


Brodyquest (Lisek)

Oh, this should be interesting. Did your veto pay off?

I’d say so.

Light was alright, but your use of 4th arrows in the 1st and 3rd beat of each measure kinda droned a bit. I mean, I know it’s supposed to be an easy chart, but I think it could have been better. Standard was good. Heavy had an Under The Sky effect going on. The first parts were easy but then once the song breaks down, things start to pick up.

Nice work.

Verdict: SWEET


Coming Out (KNS-17)

Hooray, you finally submitted something!

Wow, there’s nothing about this simfile that I didn’t like. You got really lucky with your cut. I can tell you had so much fun working with it. Great job, I can’t wait to see more from you.

You say you didn’t like this song, and you say your steps were not good at all.. I say you are out of your mind. This is not an easy song to step, but the steps you made are better than what I could come up with. Light through heavy were nice and solid.

I love this song so much.

DUDE. You really upped your game this time. After getting a song you finally liked, you made steps with kickass rhythms to it. Normally, I am not a fan of steps that go with the lyrics, but this song was just asking for it, so I’ll let my grievance slide this time. Your crossovers were fantastic.

The only problem I had was that sometimes your steps made the player face a direction for an unnecessarily long period of time, but we talked about it via PM and I think you should be straightened out.

You’re the underdog for this contest, and you shone like a star. Great job.

I haven’t heard this song in a while, but I haven’t heard this remix before.

Ayumi, this might be your best simfile yet.

Props to you for finally getting your freeze arrows at the right length. Your crossovers were implemented perfectly, and your use of your perfectly lengthened freeze arrows were great. You exemplify a wonderful symbol in the Hirose clan. Look out guys, dis chab’s got skillz.

Verdict: UNBELIEVABLE


Secrets (ddrstepper)

I’m so glad you fixed your sync for this song, otherwise I would have to choke a bitch.

When you released this file, I wondered how one can make a 10 out of this song? And when I played I was like “...oh.” Light and standard were pretty good, but I thought heavy was a little overdone. You know how sometimes toast can have some dark spots when you put it in for a little too long? That is what your heavy chart looked like. There were some unnecessary burnt spots that needed to be scraped off.

Good effort, though.

Verdict: NOT BAD

Shit, I swear that im done with my laptop. My stepmania is a bit jacked up on there compared to my desktop's and yes it's blue note syndrome. Long story as to why it was that way, but it seems like the .sm didnt save when I fixed it. Sorry for the trouble tel.

Marry me, this was just amazing. I already loved the song & as I played the through charts I was thoroughly pleased. Holy jesus, what really got me though was that chart. Im not really a doubles player but that chart just had me satisfied to end. I was so sad though that the song was over 2 minutes as I couldn't take the file with me to a local itg to play that doubles chart.

Oh god this was just great. I never really thought someone could even make such a good chart to Back 2 Back yet you did it. I loved the spins and how creative you got with the freezes. Even though the song was repetitive at times you really managed to keep me highly interested.

As much as I didn't really like the song I have to admit this was good. I honestly enjoyed the steps which I find surprising as I dont know how I would enjoy it when I hated the song.
