that would be : Feeding Time by U1-ASAMi*has horrible flashback of 16th note drills for 90 seconds*
Oh god.
Also, from what I remember, a fair amount of menu music from DDR Extreme / Festival / Fusion was written by U1-ASAMi. I like the mission mode music.

I like the mission mode music.
Jaren Tolman did the mission mode music as well as Edit Mode, Information Mode, Random & Roulette + Party ModeEDIT: did not read completely what you said astro but yeah U1 did most of the BGM
EDIT2: changed my post
anyway....
some songs/BGMs from DDR became Remixed into a new song for beatmaniaIIDX or DDR
Look to the Sky -> Rise'n Beauty (BMIIDX)
Look to the Sky (True Color Mix) -> Look to the Sky (Cyber True Color Mix) [BMIIDX)
Feelings Wont Fade(DDRMAX2 BGM) -> Back Into the Light (BMIIDX)
-Feelings Wont Fade became an official song for DDR in SuperNOVA with the subtitle : Extend Trance Mix
1998 -> Be Rock U~1998 burst style~
Sercet R.(DIVAS) -> PLANTONIC-XXX
I WANNA GET YOUR HEART (DDR FESTIVAL BGM) -> Silver P.
- became an official song in SuperNOVA
Brillant R-E-D -> DEEP ROAR
i know there still others but that all i know at the moment

I heard that the menu music in DDR X was made by an artist who also contributed songs to that game (my mind immediately points to Drew Campbell, but I'm not sure). I don't know who did the music for X2 PS2.
At the L. British on Ultramix vid, yes, I think that is indeed Lord British. Quite random, I might add.

As well as being the spiritual successor to Brilliant 2U and B4U, "Be Rock U" can also be written as "B6U", and is therefore the greatest pun in IIDX history.

"Put 'Em Up" by Edun should actually be titled "Put Them Up".
"Midnight Blaze (SySF Mix)" should of course be "Midnite Blaze (SySF Mix)" too.
And is my memory playing tricks on me or does the DDR edit of the song differ to the official short version from one of the OSTs?

I have it on CD, from America, as "Put Them Up". Weird.

Wut?
Brilliant 2U --> B2U
B4U ---------> B4U
Be Rock You > B6U since it's the third song in a series of songs with a number in the middle of the name. It would be part of the sequence of adding two to the number in the middle. If that's what he is getting at.

The japanese word for 6 is pronounced the same as "rock".

In other words, it is it's own play on words(letter?) unrelated to the B2/4/6U despite the signature Naoki-bot.
