I'm happy to see a good number of 8's on the KO's. I REALLY want to see a Difficult chart in Choreography mode and/or license charts.

I can supply that shortly. They're actually pretty good, though I can definitely see that the real challenge will be Expert without the notes running up the screen as the motion detection is VERY lenient.

Speaking of Double Tornard, curse that song as the ONLY thing that stopped my PFC was that stop in the middle of the song. Funny how the announcer calls it Double Tornado.

Oh, and one more thing. I can't get enough of Seasons, even if the chart at the beginning swings your legs around too much on those freezes.

Oh really? Well that's interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing the backgrounds in the routines they've designed for the licenses, in particular. Honestly, I don't think I'll miss them.

There's no music videos because every song except for New York Evolved has a routine, and the routine is based off of what they do on choreography mode right down to the last move.

Oh, and Seasons along with Rescue Me is up. More coming as I type this.

Hey! Try Balance Board Mode yet?

Getting to it, I might try and film a couple before calling it the night. They do have a step on/step off note to it now so that's gonna make things very interesting in an of itself. It's definitely gonna make the balancing act harder.

Yeah, I noticed. I wonder if you can adjust settings to turn that off (or even the Hip Rolls). Probably not, but just a thought. Thanks so much for the vids so far!

Also, any news on this Challenge Task business? Multiplayer modes?

Challenge Tasks essentially took the place of Groove Circuit mode this year. Sometimes you'll be asked to play a particular song and meet certain criteria on it in order to get a certain amount of DDR points, other times you can just play a random song while still having certain criteria to meet. Essentially if you can AA and FC a song on average, you'll be able to meet them every single time.

As for Balance Board mode. You cannot turn stuff off once again. However, chart wise Balance Board is a LOT more vicious this year from what I've seen so far. Keep in mind, I haven't played a single KO yet, yet the charts feel a lot like the ones that the KOs got on HP3. You WILL be moving. Once again, chart difficulty is either Basic or Difficult.

Oh, and the step on/off notes are very lenient. As long as you get back on/off when you're supposed to, it's Marvelous. However, those in between everything else is a whole other story. I failed Rio the first time I played it because of them.

Balance Board videos are going up soon. Not one of them is a FC as I'm quite rusty on this now.

Challenge Tasks = Yeah, that's what I thought they would be. And that's a shame that they're pretty easy to accomplish. I guess Beginners should see them as worthwhile things to work towards, though.

Balance Board only up to Difficult again? Darn it... But hearing your impressions does sound promising. I'm happy to hear that the charts you played are akin to the KO's from HP3. Don't worry about not having mastered it at this point.. That's to be expected. I'd just be pleased with any vids at this point.

Hopefully someone can confirm the ratings for the songs in this mode.

Also, I'd just like to say.. Plastic Beach's 4 was for Choreography Mode, and that mode does have its own Groove Radar as I suspected.
