"Sarah/Autumn"
I'll do my best to get a sim done tomorrow (start to finish), and I've found a few songs I really like. It's been a busy week for me...
Play my game Arcana Seal of Rimsala (SNES)!

I AM DONE.

6 ¦ DDR Edit - A
Really can't stand the blue-arrow syndrome in the beginning.
S-Std: The best chart in this sim. Everything strange about the S-Oni is fixed here.
S-Heavy: Oh that's weird. A lot of random doublesteps in the 191 BPM section and awkward offbeat motives in the 93 BPM.

8 ¦ DDR Edit - A Brighter Day
S-Heavy: Feels goooooood man. Decent variety, and I like gallops XD
S-Oni: I see what you did with the 16ths, but it occasionally resulted in weird crossovers and is really stamina-draining for this kind of song.

7 ¦ DDR Edit-Aaron's Party (Come Get It)
S-Std: Not bad, but it's a 6-footer at best.
S-Heavy: There's a lot of doublestep - it would be bearable if the best way around it wasn't to face top right all day.

8.5 ¦ DDR Edit - All Good Things (Come to an End)
S-Heavy: Rather similiar to S-Oni, but not in a bad way. More like a low 9 than an 8.
S-Oni: Good steps variety. A bit challenging for a 9, but fits the music well.

7.5 ¦ DDR Edit - BALALAIKA, CARRIED WITH THE WIND
S-Heavy: Okay, I'm seeing some measures twice for sure. Still doable, though.
S-Oni: The chart is kind of repetitive, but it's in the spirit of Konami officials, and it's actually soothing. Also, nice spins.

8.5 ¦ DDR Edit - Beautiful Inside (CubeHard Mix)
Disclaimer: I love this song, so I'm going to try not to skew my review here.
S-Std: Not much to say here. A nice solid 5.
S-Heavy: I really like the way this chart follows the music. Good variety of steps that fit the dynamics.

6 (6) ¦ DDR Edit - Beginning of the End
S-Heavy: Copypasta down from the S-Oni with steps removed occasionally.
S-Oni: That's not a 12, it's a high 10. (Consider that 16th runs at 136 < 8th runs at 300 ~ Paranoia -Respect-.) I'm not a fan of loooooong 16th runs, but I'd put up with them if there was more variety. Also, haven't I seen this chart somewhere?
D-Heavy: I know I've seen this chart before. It looks so much like ITG material, even though it's a DDR edit. Too much streams.

7 ¦ DDR Edit - BOOM BOOM DOLLAR
S-Std: Strangely enough, I like this chart better. Maybe because it fits the slow pace of the song? XD
S-Heavy: It's an OK chart. Nothing outstanding, but nothing horrible, either.

7 ¦ DDR Edit - Chance and Dice
S-Std: You know, repeated steps are okay in moderation. Better than top left bias / candling all the way through. A bit boring.
S-Heavy: A whole lot of candling. If the pattern (not the rhythm, that's absolutely fine) were more varied, this chart could really win me over.

7 ¦ DDR Edit - Cutie Chaser
S-Std: Well, it's a 4. (Seriously, I don't know what to say.)
S-Heavy: Not a bad use of the 5/4 rhythm. Step patterns are pretty decent. Sometimes the flow is impeded by the repeated eighths.

7 ¦ DDR EDIT - Dancing Pompokolin (Captains Eurasia Hyper Mix)
Ew, this song hurts my soul. Thanks again, Captain Jack.
S-Std: A nice solid 4. Can't think of much more to say.
S-Heavy: A pretty generic 7 that goes well with the music. Would fit well in DDR.

6 ¦ DDR Edit - Disabled the FLAW
S-Heavy: ...also feels like a 10? Lower though. Still has that annoying step-step-jump deal.
S-Oni: Feels like a 10 with spurts of 11. I still don't think I would pad this baby. That step-step-jump deal in the middle is darn annoying. Plus there's a doublestep in that 16th run near the beginning.

7 ¦ DDR Edit - Disabled the FLAW (Kynayo)
S-Std: I like the marching feel. It's a good S-Std chart given the S-Heavy.
S-Heavy: More a low 10 than a 9. Easy to read though, even with the mines. In fact, the addition of mines actually makes this chart better.

6.5 ¦ DDR Edit - Diving
S-Heavy: Much better. I like the use of heartbeat rhythm instead of streams.
S-Oni: Um, no. Those hands aren't nice hands, and the song can't really support that many steps going on. Also, doublesteps a la HVAM "spins".

6 ¦ DDR EDIT - DRILL INSTRUCTOR (C-Jah Happy Mix)
S-Std: Copypasta from S-Heavy with mirror and some slight changes. Still feels more like an 8 than a 6.
S-Heavy: The chart is awfully weird. SAKURA-esque jacks are pretty rough. Following vocals directly is a big no-no in my book for most songs, especially where there's a good beat.

1 ¦ DDR Edit - Fascination MAXX
It can't get much DULR than this. (See what I did there.)

9 ¦ DDR Edit - Freeway Shuffle (V)
S-Heavy: Also has a lot of personality, especially for a 7. A great companion chart for the S-Oni.
S-Oni: This chart is everything I love. Fits the music beautifully, lots of variety, a reasonable difficulty level (even if it's just a bit overstepped) - the only thing that could make it better is a few crossovers Big Grin

8 ¦ DDR Edit - HERO (2008 X-edit)
S-Std: I think it'd be better to follow the lyrics a bit less. That said, the chart was still interesting (although primarily candle strings) and worth playing.
S-Heavy: Very nice. Lots of movement, good for the song. The 32nds may be a bit fast for an 8-footer (they're easier on the keyboard than on the pad, for sure).

8.5 ¦ DDR Edit - Just Dance
S-Std: It's a 5-footer. I'm really bad at judging 5-footers or easier, but it seems OK to me.
S-Heavy: More involved than what I was expecting for a song by Lady Gaga Tongue Extremely well done though. The spins and repeated eighths are a nice touch.

8 ¦ DDR Edit - Koko Soko
S-Std: Decent 5-footer. Again, seems OK, but that's because there's not much you can do with 5-footers.
S-Heavy: Reasonable chart for the simple song. Spins are nice. I wish you'd use something besides jacks for the "koko-soko-asoko" parts, but the resulting turn is good.

7.5 ¦ DDR Edit - LOVE THIS FEELIN'
S-Heavy: This chart feels much better than the S-Oni, but there's still a lot of jumps. I'd play this one over the Oni for sure.
S-Oni: I love that I spent time for this contest turning Unreal into a less jumpy chart, and you've turned a less jumpy chart into Unreal. Also, jacks.

6.5 ¦ DDR EDIT - MATSURI JAPAN (FROM NONSTOP MEGAMIX)
S-Std: Well, it's a (high) 3. What can I say? The freezes feel like a 4-footer, I guess.
S-Heavy: MATSURI JAPAN (AIR Special). I'd play it for the lulz factor, but not much more.

1 ¦ DDR Edit - MAX 300
Just your ordinary old LRDUgasm. Plus, the music file is a little pitchy?

7 ¦ DDR Edit - Outer Limits
S-Heavy: Copypasta from S-Oni with *some* steps removed. Therefore it's only kind of a 9, and more like a 10.
S-Oni: Pretty fun, actually. Don't like the jacks so near the beginning of the song, but I complain a lot about jacks in general.

1 ¦ DDR Edit - Pluto Relinquish
I daresay actual work and calories went into using Record mode in Stepmania to put these charts together.

8.5 ¦ DDR Edit - RAGGANINJA
The edit sim is a little off sync, and the official sim isn't. Did you accidentally hit the sync keys while stepping?
S-Std: Also a fun chart, although I worry that it's a little complicated for a six-footer.
S-Heavy: I really like this chart with this song. Much more replay value than the officials. Very spare on the 16ths though; I would have liked to see a companion cata.

9 ¦ DDR Edit - Ready Steady Go
S-Std: Just your ordinary five-footer. Nothing outstandingly awful.
S-Heavy: Quite enjoyable. I don't have anything bad to say about this chart. At all.

8 ¦ DDR Edit - ROCK BEAT
S-Std: This is the more fun chart of the two I reviewed. If this is a 6, S-Heavy ain't an 8.
S-Heavy: I feel like I'm playing a really easy No 1 Nation (ITG). That's not necessarily a bad thing. Very 3rdMIX-esque chart.

7 ¦ DDR edit - Saber Wing
S-Heavy: Copypasta from S-Oni with 16th runs as 8th runs. Makes it tons better, but still kind of rough and lopsided.
S-Oni: ...it's not an ITG contest. The 16th runs @ 158 BPM were overdoing it just a touch, and nothing makes sense with the music.

8 ¦ DDR Edit - SAGA
S-Heavy: Also pretty good, but I think you got bored towards the end. Probably a little high for your ordinary 8-footer, too.
S-Oni: Except for the longer triplet runs not going with the music at all, it was a really fun chart. Good stamina drainer.

7 ¦ DDR Edit - Scorching Moon
S-Std: Oh that's weird. The offbeat section got quantized into something I really don't care for. The freezes were nice.
S-Heavy: A really nice idea, but even you got tired of it after a while and the chart turned into so much candling.

6 ¦ DDR EDIT - Shades of Grey
S-Heavy: Copypasta of S-Oni with 16th runs turned into slightly easier mini-trills or whatever those things are called. Not so useful.
S-Oni: Yes, I agree that this song needed a higher-rated chart than the low 8 it got. No, I don't think this is where it's at. 16th runs, get out.

6.5 ¦ DDR EDIT-Silent Hill 3rd Christmas Mix
S-Std: This chart is better than the S-Heavy. Feels like a solid 6-footer. Watch the doublesteps.
S-Heavy: Feels like DROP OUT at times, and not in a good way. Also, HERE COMES CHRISTMAS NYARGH.

7.5 ¦ DDR Edit - SMOKE
S-Std: Not bad either. It's a 5-footer that feels like a 5-footer and feels good.
S-Heavy: For best results, really stomp every quarter note to feel the beat. It works - I tried it.

7.5 (8) ¦ DDR Edit - Stomp to my beat
S-Std: I like this chart a lot better. Actual stomping takes place comfortably. Also, those spins are so free.
S-Heavy: It's well put together, but I don't think my ITG chops are good enough to enjoy it properly. 16ths occasionally where they aren't very well supported.
D-Std: Rather nice. The use of jumps complements the song. I'd play it after fixing a couple glaring doublesteps.
D-Heavy: Ouch. Reminds me of Vifta med Handerna a lot. I've learned to panic every time I see purple notes on this chart Tongue

7 ¦ DDR Edit - Uranus
S-Heavy: Good. Not a fan of jacks at any speed, but I understand where you're coming from. Feels more like a 7.
S-Oni: OK. Not sure what's happening with the those weird steps right after stops. Doesn't always make sense with the rhythm.

7 (6) ¦ DDR Edit - Why Not
S-Std: It's OK. Really biased towards facing top left.
S-Heavy: I don't like how the vocals are so strictly followed. Also, there's a whole lot of doublesteps.
D-Oni: Not as good as the official D-Heavy. There were a couple really rough patterns for doubles players (e.g. left foot jump to 2R).

6 ¦ DDR EDIT - Xepher (V)
S-Heavy: A couple random doublesteps, strange use of the stop, somewhat boring patterns for a 10.
S-Oni: Meh. Felt very unpolished. 16th runs ending in jumps, the awful doublestep right before the verse - just not that great.

Song are in alphabetic order.
Except for FaxX, Max300 and Pluto who are at the end (because i have a special note for the overall).

First, i saw 4 sims used heavy copy paste.
When i say heavy copy paste it's using the EXACT same arrows placement on 2 different charts + some parts who changes.
The 4 simfiles are : Beginning of the End, Outer Limits, SABER WING and Shades of Grey.
I played those chart and then, whent into the versus mod, put low speed + auto play.
That was a good way to see if i was wrong or not. And yes, that was heavy copy paste.
Those 4 songs was auto-rejected by me even i spent time to review them.

Mostly i played at least 2 chart per file. That was ENOUGH long like this >.<
Seriously this took me SO MUCH time.

DDR Edit: A
Expert (9)
I think there is interesting utilisation of background sounds and stuff.
Good job with stop bpm changes. BUT too much double stepping overall. The ending rush is scary :p
Difficult (7)
Some part i dislike, some parts was ok. Nothing special to say.

DDR Edit: Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)
Expert (9)
Some parts follow well the lyrics, i like that.
But some double stepping and weird move ruined it Sad
Difficult (7)
There is at one double step in 8th arrow :s (5 arrows in a row)
Rythm was not bad.

DDR Edit: A Brighter Day
Challenge (10)
Good rythm. Good crossover. Good use of freezes.
Have to play it one for time for check some cross-patern.
Expert (8)
You did a good job here too.
The only little problem was some double steps (like on the challenge chart) but it's ok.
I liked how you used some single 16th notes, good rythm with that (the galop was okay too).
Good freezes.
Difficult (5)
You did a great job following the voice with so few arrows.
That's a good 5 feet.

DDR Edit: BALALAIKA, CARRIED WITH THE WIND
Challenge (8)
Double steps right before crossovers. So you don't know when you can turn or not, i hate that.
That's really too bad. I enjoyed a lot the rythm in the entire song.
The galops were fun and those little drills at the end fits really in the music.
Expert (7)
The chart is ok. Maybe one or two little step errors.

DDR Edit: Beautiful Inside (CubeHard Mix)
Expert (8)
Good rythm. Not so easy to step that kind of file but you did it well.
Difficult (5)
Again, you did a good chart.

DDR Edit: Beginning of the End
Challenge chart was good. Yeah lot of 16th streams, but this fits in the songs.
I'm sure i'll enjoy that on arcade.
Expert is a copy paste of challenge with less streams.
When i say copy paste, it's not a copy paste of the rythm (this can hapend) BUT copy paste of excat arrow placement.
Double expert(11)
Chart is not bad. I like that you put some hands here.
The galop was a bit weird and i saw one or 2 moves who gaves me double steps.

DDR Edit: BOOM BOOM DOLLAR
Expert (7)
Really fun chart. Enjoyed a lot.
Just too bad that this is not a bit harder, but chart is solid.
Difficult (5)
I don't know if it's a 5 or a 6. Anyway, that was a cool chart.

DDR Edit: Chance and Dice
Expert (8)
Good rythm here. You just forgot some 16th triplet who goes with the lyrics (you did it after).
The chart is not bad but could be really better without double steps.
Difficult (6)
Ok chart. But i have the feeling that i did the same moves a lot.

DDR Edit: Cutie Chaser
Expert (8)
Good chart. Nothing spectacular but the rythm is well done.
Moves are ok too.
Difficult (4)
Maybe it's a low 5.
The file was ok. Just the few first freeze who confused me a bit, i didn't know why they are here.

DDR Edit: Dancing Pompokolin (Captains Eurasia Hyper Mix)
Expert (7)
Good rythm. I like your freezes and also your stepguns/jack/whatever people call that.
Some "mistake" on some patern like double steps Sad Chart is fun.
Difficult (4)
Nice chart. The jumps and freeze goes well with the music.

DDR Edit: Disabled the FLAW [Chaozplayerp]
Expert (9)
That's a good chart.
First, people may had not noticed : Why the mines are here ?
-> Mines are in rythm with a background sound that you can clearly hear.
This was good with this songs.
Also i saw 0 stepping errors + good crossover parts.
Some spicy 16th streams/drill here too. Go well with the music.
Difficult (6)
Good chart

DDR Edit: Disabled the FLAW [Kynayo]
Challenge (12)
A good point is that you made a lot of variery in this chart.
4/8/16/24th notes, little streams, bpm changes, "lag" part, ect.
But, some part didn't really fit. The lag didn't go well in the part that you used song imo.
Also, some good moves at some part and then, double steps :s
Too much jumps too also.
Expert (9)
It's an hard 9. A little too much jumps BUT they go with the music so that's ok.
The chart is not bad overall. Also those little streams spice the chart well.

DDR Edit: Diving
Challenge (10)
I didn't knew the songs. This is on ddr for real ?
The song has so much potential, that kick's ass.
You made some step error or double steps on galops for exemple.
Or maybe i have to foot switch or whatever (it's not a crossover i tried).
I like that there is a slowdown part. I like that there is hands/freeze too, even some of them could be a bit better.
Also that quad arrow right after the quad freezes was meh.
I really liked the rythm that you used on most of the song. That was good.
Anyway, some mistakes, some good stuff. But i glad that you tried something rare in this pack.
(i'll maybe edit that song one day. I hear some 24th who was not in your chart. Also, the songs remind me a bit of "Bend your mind" that i love).
Expert (7)
Not bad stuff. My favorite part was the slowdown.

DDR Edit: DRILL INSTRUCTOR (C-Jah Happy Mix)
Expert (8)
The beginning seems to easy but we can see what you did.
That crescendo beginning was good. The chart was good.
Good crossover too near the end.
But there is an awkward moment at the mesure 56-57.
Difficult (6)
Some parts was fun. For exemple, the 8th notes at mesure 15 was great.
Too many jumps and repetitive parts. But the steps follow the music.

DDR Edit: Freeway Shuffle
Expert (10)
Good good file. The rythm are good, moves and other stuffs too.
Good job.
I saw an other file a long time ago who was almost the same as the one so i was a bit less surprised about the quality of the chart.
Difficult (6)
Well done chart. The second half was my favorite.

DDR Edit: High School Love
Expert (9)
It's seems that you know how to do good crossover parts.
But i saw some weird stuff at the beginning end the end of the song.
The first 4 arrows is a spin or weird crossover (weird cross, i mean, you have to start the song with your right foot on the left arrow...).
Also, those triplet was not necessary. I think it's a galop not a triplet.
Double Expert (9)
I saw 2 double steps without that, that's a good chart.
Also, sometimes there is a break i the song.
You finish with for exemple the right arrow on the right panel and after the break you start on a jump on the left panel.
A bit hard if you sightread.

DDR Edit: Just Dance
Expert (8)
Overall, that's a good chart.
I'm not sure if it's a 8. Maybe a mid 7 feet.
2 double stepping (spins ?) but they are at the same part of the song.
So once you know she's about to sing tht part, you know you have to do that. So it's ok.
Good use of the 16th triplet, flow great with the song.
A lag part when she said "ju-ju-just" would be awesome. (when you used 3 times the up arrow).
Difficult (5)
Well done chart.

DDR Edit: Koko Soko
Expert (8)
Not bad. But double steps right after crossovers killed me :s
The rythm was good and the moves too (regarless of double steps).
The way that you used jumps and triplet was great.
Difficult (5)
That's a great difficult chart, good job.

DDR Edit: LOVE THIS FEELIN’
Challenge (10)
Good use of stops.
Some arrow confused me. I had to go to edit mod again and i saw some of them :
The last 16th note on the 7th mesure (down arrow) should not be there. Rythm was 1-2-3 not 1-2-3-4.
There is 32th in the 12th mesure. That's riht, you can hear it in the background. But i'm prety sure they are longer than triplet.
Maybe 5 arrows instead of 3. That would have been a great spot for drills and not hard crossovers (slowdown made this hard to read).
The other parts of the songs are ok.
Expert (9)
I prefer this chart. The slowdown part is also better.
A question about jumps in both chart : Why so much "hard" jumps ?
(i mean, right then down with 8th notes and the next 8th notes is a jump on up + left. Then next 8th note is right or down.)
Double whatever (0)
You forgot to remove the double charts that you didn't did.

DDR Edit: MATSURI JAPAN (From Nonstop Megamix)
Expert (7)
Jumps was fun with the "oh oh".
Nothing really much to say. Expect that jacks (3 arrows on the same side on 8th notes) was not the good rythm imo.
Difficult (3)
Nothing special to say.
Except that some freeze was good (the first one) but after 2 or 3 freeze, the other should have not be here (see the beginning and the hard of the chart).

DDR Edit: Outer Limits
Challenge (10)
The part in the middle of the song with little streams (5 arrows) was good.
Some double steps killed me. Rythm was mostly ok. Good freeze part.
Expert (9)
Are you kidding me ? More than the first half the the song is the exct copy of challenge.
Like 80% of the song is a copy of the challenge. Exact copy.

DDR Edit: RAGGANINJA
Expert (8)
The sync is late :s.
The rythm was good on some part but could be better on other (some part could follow better the voice).
Also few double steps.
Difficult (6)
Not bad. Few double steps too.

DDR Edit: Ready Steady Go
Expert (7)
Good chart even the song is not so easy to step (slow).
Good rythm, no step error.
Also good freeze part.
Difficult (5)
Good chart too.

DDR Edit: ROCK BEAT
Expert (8)
Fun chart, good jump and moves.
But one double step killed me at the beginning.
Difficult (6)
Not bad.

DDR Edit: SABER WING
Challenge (12)
The streams goes well with the music. I liked it.
Overall, the chart is cool (kinda determinator effect, but we can't really do something about that).
Expert (10)
60% of the chart is a PURE copy/paste of the challenge chart.
Exact same arrow placement on a LOT of part (60% i think like i said).
Also i didn't like the part when you use down + right for like 10min.
Double whatever (0)
You forgot to remove the double charts that you didn't did.

DDR Edit: S.A.G.A
Challenge (10)
The rythm used was not bad but it could follow better the song with more intense part.
I'm a bit confused with those 12th for exemple. The rythm is wrong.
I went to edit mod nd tried to figure it out.
I found 2 different part. The first one is almost 5 arrows in a row (16th) except that the 4th arrow is not here.
The second part, is 24th.
The song have really much potential than this.
Expert (8)
That was ok. I like the beginning.

DDR Edit: Scorching Moon
Expert (9)
I liked when you follow great the rythm.
But, some steps are missing and you forgot some intense rythm sometimes.
The paterns was cool also.
Difficult (6)
I think it's hard to do that kind of chart with that kind of song.
You did it ok.
I really liked the freeze part with little crossovers and stuff. Funny and not too hard.

DDR Edit: Shades of Grey
Challenge (10)
The beginning made me confused.
I played it 3 times in a row and can't figure it.
Then i went into the edit mod, and i saw that there is a mistake in the patern on the first 10/15 arrows (thats not the only i did that).
That's too bad, because there is no step errors after this point.
I liked what you did with the 16th at some part (i'm not talking about stream).
Streams was not bad too but a little more variety in it could be better.
Expert (9)
I liked when you used freeze for follow the voice (like you did on challenge).
I have to double step some part here but that was not really fast nd there is breaks, so it's ok.
Like 40% or more of the challenge chart is EXACTLY the same than the expert chart.
Double whatever (0)
You forgot to remove the double charts that you didn't did.

DDR Edit: Silent Hill (3rd Christmax Mix)
Expert (9)
There is good idea on some part. Those triplet fits well.
Some parts are wtf... triplet near the end, jump part, double steps...
Double Challenge (7)
Chart is ok. I like and disliked some parts.
The most surprising was the bpm changes. It's ok and that's good to have some variety.
But the speed up killed me. (yeah i played the double chart before the others lol).

DDR Edit: SMOKE
Expert (7)
The chart is fine. Easy and fun.
The first part after the freeze made me double steps, but it's ok.
Difficult (5)
Only a 5 feet but i enjoyed to play it. Good job.

DDR Edit: Stomp to my beat
Expert (10)
Where are the 24th ? Sad
Good rythm overall.
Double Challenge (12)
Some good stuff on this chart. Most of it is well done.
Good rythm, good cross. I liked the part in the middle when you have to cross a lot (left, right, left, ect).
Some moves were maybe a bit too hard. And the ending rush was a bit too much Big Grin
Double Expert (9)
For me, that's a 10. Some crossover are really hard. + there is a lot of little streams.
Overall, good job on this one.

DDR Edit: Unreal
Expert (9)
The crossover was well used.
Too bad i saw a few double stepping.
I didn't really like the rythm used on the slowdown.
The other parts was not bad.
Double Expert (9)
A few part at the begining were i didn't understand few rythm and for the slowdown too, but...
...that's a really good chart.
You used a lot of crossovers and they were like no double steps at all. Honorable mention for that.

DDR Edit: Uranus
Challenge (10)
I don't like the arrow right after the stop.
This is the kind of think that i hate when they do this on ddr because it's a stop with no music, so it's hard to catch...
Some part of the song was good. The galop galop jump part goes well with the music.
Some rythm with triplets and streams/drills was good too.
Expert (8)
Mostly, the chart was fine. Maybe the 16th notes on the slowdown was a bit weird.

DDR Edit: Why Not
Expert (9)
I like the rythm used on this one. It's a bit hard to make on edit on this song because the original is good already.
The way you used your freezes was great too (and your jumps also).
That's a good chart. Too bad there is like 2-3 double stepping part.
Difficult (6)
No double steps. Overall ok chart.
Double Expert (9)
The rythm was good. Some parts remind me the single chart but i have no problem with that.
I liked the tap-tap (2 steps in a row on the same arrow) who goes well with the music.
You did that on the Single chart too and i liked it too ;)
Some double steps who confused me a bit more than single (cause double is harder).

DDR Edit: Xepher
Challenge (11)
That's maybe a 12 no ?
Good idea to use a slowdown. That surprise a bit at first but that's cool.
The jumps that you used goes well with the song. But sometimes they are unfun to catch.
Streams/single arrow were a bit off imo sometimes.
Also WTF a jump in a middle of 170bpm 16th stream O_o
The file is hard. Fast crossovers in stream to finish by a jump.
I send you a donut if you pass this with 85% on a ITGcab or DDRX cab.
Expert (10)
I founded some rythm interesting, some other not.
Some slowdown was weird on this one but the last one with the 2 freeze was good.

---
DDR Edit: Fascination MAXX
Expert (8)
You used way too much the same patern.
You tried some rythm. At some part, that wasn't so bad.
Some other were really of beat.

DDR Edit: MAX 300
Expert (9)
Same patern a lot. And when you don't use it, your double stepping.
You tried again some rythm. Sometimes, i kinda saw what did you tried.
But a lot of steps were off.
Also wtf at the hand with the freeze and the end (+ jacks :s).

DDR Edit: Pluto Relinquish
Expert (10)
See my review of FaxX and Max. That's kinda the same.

For resume : You should take easier songs for your first edits.
Don't worry, you'll improve your stepping skills if you continue, listen people, watch other simfiles (not ddr only).
Try to test your files. Test different things like rythms/paterns/style.
But first, i think you should play more. Like i said before, watch other simfiles (official and custom).
Because for now, you are far from a good file. Sorry.

Not bad. But double steps right after crossovers killed me :s
The rythm was good and the moves too (regarless of double steps).
The way that you used jumps and triplet was great.

Just as an FYI, they aren't supposed to be double steps, they're supposed to be spins.

Little problem with votes :

I don't found the exact same count as Telperion.
I'm sure the problem as to do with this post :

Quote: silenttype01
My votes:
High School Love - 3
Unreal - 2
Koko Soko - 1

Koko Soko is first ? Or get one point ?

For the next vote, people should use the :
- 1st :
- 2nd :
- 3rd :
For avoid any confusion.

Because i think Telperion cound Koko Soko on first place but i counted it on third place.
So... waiting for Silent's post ^^'

I think you are not the only one who used spins and that i said "spins".
Spins may are fun but only when i didn't play on scoring purpose (that almost never hapend). I don't do spins when i play at the arcade or even keyboard (index).
I hate charts like Ordinary World. For people who try to score, this, is pain.

But everyone as his own idea of good chart or whatever. Some people hates 16th streams/drills, some not. Same for hands, crossovers, mines, ect...
Also, like i said, your chart was overall good. And you get some votes from other players Smile

That's 3 points - 2points - 1 point. I'm surprised you thought it was the other way, tbh.

Ach, I knew this would happen. Actually, the official simfile was a tad off-sync on my computer, so maybe it's just my computer.

This means This Feeling is probs a tad off as well. Oy vey Dead

I think the thing is like this: if it's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, that's position. If it's 1, 2, 3, it's points. tbh the best one is usually on the top anyway, so...

My apologies go to Panstyle for confusing him with the way I voted. the numbers in my post represented the points, not the ranking. I'll be sure to make it clearer when I next vote. Happy

So many good songs x__x
This was a tough call even not getting to check all of them.

1st: All Good Things (Come To An End)
2nd: Scorching Moon
3rd: Koko Soko

I wanted to put Disabled the FLAW, but Pie's edit had to be on there somewhere.

Sorry about asking again but... are you sure about the 3rd ?
I trough A Brighter Day was tie with other songs (Disabled the FLAW (chaoz), High School Love). Even before TimeSpaceMage vote.
After his vote, things changed a bit again.

Anyway, it's not important because we keep only the first.

Also, i was about to sugest a few things before you cahnge the category. But, the new category system is awesome.

For the Video Game catogory, is it original only or we are allowed to use remix ?
I'm a bit sad because i missed the VGR category. I'll try something on the 80' even it seems harder imo :p

*Downlowding the Video Game Remix songs right now*

I hope you guys are gonna make some sweet 80' files too ;)
