Don't expect MAX. (period). It hasn't even jumped to AC, and it's had three mixes to do so, and hasn't appeared on any game outside CS EXTREME (JP). I'm sure KCEH would have put it on an Ultramix/Universe game if they were allowed, I'm thinking KONAMI is pretending it doesn't exist.
PARANOiA -Respect- is more likely, if there's anything that is still unknown.

lol Konami wouldn't do that. WYSIWYG with Konami, or WYSIBTWYG (BT=Better Than XD)

I highly doubt we'll be getting Paranoia -Respect- or Max.
They both cam out on extreme and were on what mix now? I just don't see it happinging, i'd love it though.
They have La Senorita Virtual. We never got that song on a US CS if I can recall. So I do think it's very possible. Plus, when seeing the songlist, it really would suggest that one or both songs will be in the final songlist. They both cam out on extreme and were on what mix now? This game really just looks like a catch up game to me. Who knows though, despite it being a catch up game, it could be awesome

Really? I guess I didn't check close enough. Thanks for that correction, I would of still been thinking we never got it on a CS.Since that has been corrected, it does indeed, lower the chances. But who knows? Maybe Konami might be generous.
Also just wondering, has any US CS for any console ever reached over 80 songs excluding any DLC or Online Exclusives? It feels like it's a rule. US gets 70 to 80 songs, Japan gets 80+ songs, and Europe gets 70- songs. That and US and Europe CSs are slightly behind the Japan CS in features for an interface. It seems to be like that every CS. I wonder what new feature will be introduced in Japan's CS this time

No. The most we've ever gotten was DDR X, with 75.Post #369 · Posted at 2009-10-21 07:46:03am 15.7 years ago

The schedule up until SuperNOVA 2 was :
All games for the next 12 months are developed as one game, under a product codename. Key songs are implemented first, along with the american licenses. When it gets close to October, the current build of the game is packaged with the american licenses, a selection of the KO songs which are already finished at that point, and a bunch of filler songs. It's then released in America, in time for their holiday season. Meanwhile, work on the game carries on, until Spring, when it's finished off, and released for the Japanese holiday season. The japanese release is considered canon, and the American release is an "in-between" release, which is made up of parts of the previous years' game, and parts of this years' game.
In 2006, it all changed, because Konami switched their focus to the Hottest Party series. Hottest Party and SuperNOVA 2 (AC) were both developed as one game, and then split into 2 games late into development, with most of the Konami Original artists getting their songs split equally between both games. The American PS2 version ended up with a handful of the KO songs, but none of the licenses. When the AC game came out, it ended up using some of the cover versions intended for HP2, to pad out the songlist.
Last year was weird as hell, because the sound directors all switched around. The arcade machine (DDR X) was produced by the guy who usually does the Xbox games (Borenstein). and was finished months before the American release. The Bemani team developed one big game again, and everything got split between Hottest Party 2 and DDR Universe 3. (Previously, they had nothing to do with Universe). Because the AC / PS2 game was finished in advance, and was so vastly different to previous years, they had the option of putting almost all of the japanese content into the american release.
So the reason the US version seems "behind" the Japanese version is because the US version is released early (for November's holiday season), while Japan gets the same game, with 4 more months of development, in time for it's holiday season in April.

To everyone talking about whether or not we will get Paranoia -Respect- and Max.:
I predict them to be a part of DLC for the PS3/360 versions (Max. MIGHT be DLC for the EXTREME pack, and Paranoia -Respect- for the SuperNOVA pack).
At least, this is my prediction, so it may happen or not...
...although with my bulls-eye prediction about the GRS songs on X2, i wouldn't be surprised if those two songs came as DLC...
...same goes for Captivate, JUPITER, L'amour remix, CHIKARA, Golden Sky, Drivin', Brilliant R.E.D, and those other songs that have yet to see a US PS release and junk =V

I think that list is the full X2 song list. That's quite the big default list with a game of just 50 songs.
Maybe everything will be unlocked from the start. (I doubt that)

I don't think that's a default song list. I'll bet you anything that L'amour remix is in the game.

This actually makes a lot of things clearer. Now that they don't have to split things up anymore, I'm looking forward to the next AC game.
