I'm not sure how, but my points went from 31 to 52.2 in under an hour. Maybe a malfunction, or people just gave me points.
EDIT: After re-reading some of the posts, I'm guessing it was just from people who had higher ranking which makes their ratings more powerful?

If you have a high user rating and you rate someone lower or higher, their ratings can be either bumped down dramatically or they can completely boost you more higher up in the ladderIn other words, yes, a user with a high user rating = higher effect on ratings for any user.

I know I am acting as a polite user, but people have been ranking me down several times and now, I am 23.5% to being banned? Being a good user does not mean you can rank me continuously down until I am banned! (from about 25pts all the way to -23.5 pts, that's double the miscalculation...)

I've seen your posts, and you aren't deserving of such a bad rating. Others would disagree but i'm sticking with my opinion, you should have a positive score.
