Heh, as far as I'm concerned, it's a flame (from the original) to suit the "Hottest Party" theme.

I was going to get HP 2 today, but I'm kinda reluctant to be the first here to find out that it's got all the mistakes that HP 1 had, with new art and songs.

Wow. I thought HP1 was really good. The song list was really good, imo, and HP2's song list is great! There's a lot more features and content that add to the game over HP1. I doubt highly that I'd be disappointed. I've been wanting this badly for months and I just got HP1 a few months ago as a Grad Present.

Well, I'm used to using speed mods to put the scroll in the 400-450 range, so not having those is a real problem for me. And I could go on and on listing the various interface mistakes.

I see. Gameplay > Interface for me. I love it so much. And you have no idea how lucky you are to be able to not only find it and have access to it but to even play it. I want it so bad but finding it here in Canada will be no easy task, plus, I just had surgery.

I live in Canada and I found it today, I didn't buy it though I'm still waiting for that X. (tomorrow if EB games isn't retardedly retarded)

I just picked up Hottest Party 1 a few days ago. The song list is really good, and the interface isn't that bad as long as you don't try using the wii mote.

I'll definitely pick up hottest party 2 later on.

As expected, HP2 gets all the bemani love (Makes sense anyways, since the US/JP have the same number of Wii games out there). Super Hero looked pretty good.

I had a strange thought...

So you know how am-net says for DDR X that all future AC games would have 1.5x new content? Well, if X (AC) has more than 60 songs (Which actually will probably go close to 70 new songs), how the heck is Konami going to pump out 100+ new songs for every AC version?

But wait...

Suddenly Konami is getting all these bemani artists to make original songs for the Wii and 360 versions of the games (IIRC, most of HP1 were 'normal' DDR artists like Naoki, jun, and U1).

I remember someone posting about asking the Konami people at the X test if they were going to crossover Wii/Xbox songs for the AC. They said there were no such songs on X, but they were considering it for future versions.

Connecting the dots? Perhaps Konami will be making the standard 50-60 songs per AC mix and adding in all the KOs from the Wii and 360 as "New From CS" (Remember, Japan doesn't even get Xbox versions of DDR). Just a strange theory I came up with .
