PSMO doubles is easy? Video, or it didn't happen.
Consider it done. The Singles chart is harder. I know the Doubles chart by memory and the fact that's the exact same thing as the Singles chart makes it easier. I use my momentum to my advantage for that song.
As I said, consider it done. I'll have a vid up by next week
Side note: Is there any place that lists all the dance drill courses together, so I can compare them side by side? I checked the first page of this thread already.

Easy: Same on both
Medium: Easier on Doubles
Hard: Harder on Doubles

Which is only an accurate reflection: Doubles is overall easier on the lower Expert difficulties, but some of the boss songs are harder on Doubles because of the eight arrows instead of four.

It's funny how Europe's DDR X machine is in a big city like London, but the American one is in some suburban town outside of Chicago. Why couldn't they bring it to a major city, like New York or Los Angeles? Why some town in the midwest? Please don't tell me Betson's building the American cabinet again.

Our primary test was in Irvine, which is a pretty large city, so the US got a pretty good test. It's funny how Europe's DDR X machine is in a big city like London, but the American one is in some suburban town outside of Chicago. Our test wasn't in London. The Location test was in West Sussex, some 50 miles outside of London.
The DDR X that was on display at ATEI-London was an arcade trade exhibition show, and was the same machine used in the Irvine test location iirc. It only has some ~14 songs from DDR X on there.

Doubles gets much harder than singles on the level 9's and above because for crossovers you really have to haul some ass to hit the arrows. I've done some 17s on singles but I haven't even cleared a single 14 on doubles, and yes, that includes bag. Doubles takes tons more stamina and a lot more pure agility than singles. Maybe not as much on the easier stuff, but when you start getting up there it gets harder much more quickly than singles.Medium: Easier on Doubles

just to jump in on this, its so much easier on doubles because the "death runs" arent crossovers, its just running. use your momentum to move across the pads. the rest of the song isnt really hard at all on singles or doubles. its pretty much the exact same thing as singles, just less crossing over. if you have stamina and a decent idea of how to play doubles, you can do PSMO.
edit- also, looks like surrender(your love) is the new my summer love from 7th mix. i guarantee people will learn it just to use it in tourneys against people, just like the 101 BPM my summer love.

Or figure out how to beat the lag bug.

Which is almost what I said, and then the majority of Doubles charts are toned down versions of Singles.Post #3760 · Posted at 2009-02-07 11:23:37pm 16.8 years ago
