Despite it's insanity, Nageki is well-stepped. If they had to make an 18 out of it, that's a fine result. Makes sense, suitably crazy, but doable.

JOMANDA is pretty expected, and that's a good thing.

But, yeah. That chart looks absolutely bonkers. Does not look fun at all, especially with those goddamn 24ths/obnoxious crossovers going at the BPM it's going at. Are you sure Konami didn't just pluck some random keyboard chart for it off the internet and use parts of it for the official ? Cause if you told me that, I could honestly believe it.
Cause that's what it looks like.
Granted, I don't know what I should've been expecting.

Of all 18-ish charts, Nageki seems doable.

24ths at 160 aren't too bad in short spurts like that. It reminds me of Superluminal, but slower and a lot easier. I think it would be better without the weird jumps, but they probably threw those in to keep the difficulty more consistent.

Basically, it's an easy 18 and it could have been much worse. I approve.

If I ever play this on foot, I'm definitely using mirror. Facing right is really awkward for fast sections lol

Edit: Just wanted to say I'm actually really happy that Konami is experimenting with 24th notes. Maybe we can see some easier charts with some 24ths in them. Maybe some 24th runs at 140-ish BPM.

Nageki no Ki CDP18

I get the feeling this is what Konami had in mind for Flower when they rated it a 17 on initially. I love the chart too.

Had tried it, then AAAed it. Was shocked & got a miss when the song went to 600 BPM.

What is the difference between Japan, Asia & Korea versions?
