Well I've played on 4 different betson cabs, one (SN1) was pretty good (I managed to AAA all of the new-to-SN1 non-10s plus Max-Me-Mix Expert there); the other one (another SN1) was alright, but the 2 SN2 cabs I've played are two of the worst cabs I've tried in my life. One of those was somewhat fixed and works much better now, but you have to stomp quite a bit so you don't get "pad greats" or almosts/misses. The consensus is that betson cabs are EXTREMELY hit or miss, and that the brackets are uncomfortably high compared to japanese cabs. Oh and that the sound sucks.

Disregard, I meant SN2 dedis. SN1s are almost always perfect.

Huh...

Some people posting on other boards have made it sound like when you put edits on the machine, they actually stay there. In other words, you can play other people's edit charts and vice versa by just heading to the edit section of the machine. That's really cool if true, can anyone confirm? It would be really cool to go up to a DDR X machine and play some other people's edits, it really would make the machine more enjoyable.

I believe that is true. I can confirm this next time I go play.

Just listened to Blue Rain: HUGE WIN, I made an edit for it in the first hour of downloading the sim. Ubertreffen is ok, I wish the rest of the song was more like the beginning with the heavy bass.

Is it just me or is Zero basically a fusion of DoLL and Baby Tears (sky Girls' theme)? You can definitely hear heavy DoLL influences (for pete's sake the video uses the same characters as the DoLL vid).

Many TERRA songs in IIDX use those same characters. EDEN and ALFARSHEAR are two that haven't made it to DDR.

Mm, ALFARSHEAR would be one sexy crossover.

You know, now that the machine supports long songs like the Xmixes, doesn't it seem like there's no reason to not bring back Dynamite Rave (Long Ver.) and B4U (Glorious Style)?

Quick question. Do the XMIXES count as 2 songs? If so, I agree with pie. Don't forget Hot Limit!

Well, they only appear on 2nd stage (assuming a standard 3 stage game) and when highlighted, "2ND STAGE" becomes "FINAL STAGE"
