DDR X2 (AC) (International)

The shock arrow chart is really fun. Especially if you do the spins and stuff.

There is also a youtube video of She is my Wife demonstrating the dance in slow motion then regular speed with the basic chart steps side-by-side. My friend is in the process of practicing it. (it's all in Japanese though)

i'm jumping on the bandwagon with smooooch oni. good use of shocks, and its awesome how it matches the background. also, its about freaking time we didnt have that lame storm BG for shock arrow charts (i dont even know if X AC used it, it just sucks in X and X2 PS2).

off the bandwagon, play more saberwing guys. there were good shock charts in X.

Did anyone notice that smooooch is one of, if not the first shock arrow chart that has shock arrows on something other than a 4th (toward the end).

It doesn't.

Now that Shock Arrow charts are well made, lets see them higher than Difficult in difficulty. Is there a real reason why it has to be a Shock Bar instead of individual arrows that would allow for an infinitely higher level of creativity? They didn't baby-step Freeze Arrows when those came out, they made some rather painful combinations in DDRMAX.

Horatio in X used it (the JP and US charts).

Dr. D, get that PFC on Maxx Unlimited! (If you didn't already on camera xD)

This was on my mind all day today. I find I do better on Maxx Unlimited on DDR X. This weekend I'll go for it!!! I'll also try to get a PFC on PSMO on video.

Can someone please explain to me how to play Roppongi Version D or any roppongi for that matter on FINAL stage?!?!? The only was I know to play that song will be on encore stage. How are the people in the version D video playing it on Final?

Also I still dont know how to unlock songs in the Replication D folder. I only have Pierce the sky.
Edit: I now realize that they were playing version D in an edit course...

apparently you didnt read my post up at the top of the page that talks about X2 PS2 using the storm BG for shock arrow charts, Lirodon. just because X AC didnt use it doesnt mean the CS version wont.

That and I think the storm background isn't that bad. It adds to the atmosphere where you have to have at least 1/100 of the speed necessary to dodge a lightning bolt to jump over a shock arrow.

The main problem was the charts themselves. Horatio (JP), Saber Wing, smooooch and Captain Jack have great shock arrow charts. The only way that this can go wrong is if those shock arrows find its way into an 18.

Well, it just depends on how many they use. If they only use 5-10 shock arrows in the 18 chart, it wouldn't be so bad. But the chances of that are like, slim to none.

Pierce the Sky - 20 X2 songs B or above

Sakura Sunrise - Clear 2 songs in every folder from 1st to 2x
(If you haven't played many songs its best to do challenge songs in each folder because they will count towards Possession as well)

Shiny World - Clear 5 courses + 1 Dance drill

Possession - Challenge songs, something along the lines of 13 songs with AAs or Difficulty totaling over 100. Its still vague.
(You also need to have cleared Sakura Sunrise on any difficulty, maybe Pierce too)

New Decade - AA Pierce the Sky and Shiny World on any difficulty.

Anti-Matter - AA Sakura Sunrise and Shiny World on any difficulty + welcome play 3 games
(the welcome player must play / clear their songs.

Some of the AA requirements might be a little off but I'm not sure. However, out of the six songs they are split into 3 pairs
. I may have mixed them up though, I don't remember exactly.

Pierce the Sky - Anit-Matter

Sakura Sunrise - Possession

Shiny World - New Decade

They way it works is you have to clear each difficulty of the first song to unlock that difficulty for the second in the pair. So if you want to play Possession Expert you need to clear (Maybe AA) Sakura Sunrise. Basic will unlock Basic only, etc.
