Seeing all the alternates of songs, I wonder if Gold Rush (when it is playable) will have two versions. One with the traditional lyrics and the other with the DDR version

Who knows, they may throw the pop'n music version in the mix, though it would be somewhat weird hearing IIDX GOOOOOLD!!! or SENGOKU RETSUDEEEEEN!!! in DDR X TWOOOOO!!! Either way, people would MAKE IT MAKE MONEY. Yeah, I had to go there...

It seems as though they actually made 888 a boss song.

I always thought it was just a regular song with an insanely hard Oni chart, I guess Konami had a different vision.

I would call it more of a tidbit, easter egg if you will, rather than a boss song.
Actually, when you looks at the Expert stepchart, it's rather straightforward. Although it is a bit stamina draining still.
I actually would really like to try out its Expert chart. I took a look at it and it somehow looks fun to play.
Its oni chart on the other hand... I think I'll pass

Just had a thought, Universe 3 had that credits only version of Midnight Blaze, so has anyone gone for an AAA of the original?

Dr. D could I request a 1x flat bag video? One side the new fixed heavy chart and the right side the old heavy steps (challenge)?

I just wanted to compare what the new and old look like without mods if that's ok with you. If not I understand. =D

I think since the Remix course is unlocked we have gotten all the remix songs. It cant hurt to try, but I have a feeling that we have all of them.

Midnite Blaze has been removed since DDR X.

I did want to take a video of both charts side by side. I thought i was but i guess the 2nd player changed to challenge at the last second without me noticing. haha. I'm not sure I'd want to play it on 1x though haha.

I'm leaving to play again today. If my legs are up to it I'll try to AA 888 for a video. The record last night was at 980,xxx for .

The steps in smooooch S-Oni (including the shocks) are mostly mimicking what the characters do on-screen. Watch that Afronova walk and the spins in the beginning (Frozen Ray style) and end (PARANOiA orig. style).

Wow....a shock arrow step chart that doesn't suck...

...really hope they have this consistency for the other NEWER shock arrow charts, i'd rather have them take off shock arrows after X2 to be honest, that is if they can get someone to do a better job at making good shock arrow charts >_>
