"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"
They are probably this team NAOKI has put together. Honestly, they're doing a great job on Dance Masters but DDR PS3...Not so much.

"Give me a steady beat."
DDR All Stars, Inc. Big Grin

Edit: I think that the PS3 DDR is going to be better than we think it will be, I also think they're using it as a way to test a lot of different stuff at the same time.

BETA indeed. I still can't accept that this game is called "DanceDanceRevolution." How confusing is that? This is the same reason I hate Rambo and Rocky and all those other recent movies that just use an ambiguous name that is not helpful in any way for people new to the series to intuitively know where they lie in the chronology.

ESRB on DDR PS3:

Quote: ESRB
This is a dancing simulation game in which players perform dance steps and hand shaking in-time with arrow indicators that scroll from the bottom of the screen to the top. Player score points by hitting the corresponding panel/arrow on the dance pad to the beat of the music. One background illustration depicts a female dancer wearing a revealing outfit (e.g., a half-zipped jumpsuit with exposed cleavage). Some song lyrics contain the word "damn."

My question is, how CAN you even see that over the exploding fireworks, random lights, and even the dancer is a silhouette!

"DanceDanceRevolution"

The fact sheet has been updated and now has separate entries for both the Wii and PS3 games.

http://www.konami.com/downloads/gamersnight2010/DanceDanceRevolution_FS_Logo.zip

The fact sheet reveals "So Fine" by Sean Paul to be a license for at least the PS3 version.

Thanks for the fact sheet!
DanceDanceRevolution

PS: I've been banned from Zenius-I-Vanisher 5th Style II...

PS3 DDR coming to Japan as well?

http://bit.ly/dbOMto

Sony's PS MOVE title line-up for Japan shows a "music game" from Konami that has a "Dance Simulation" genre.

Looks like Amazon posted the boxart, looks like it may be the official one?

If it plays well, surely the name doesn't matter?

Since it is the first one on the PS3 It makes sense to just call it DDR. I just am worried about it being to "innovative" to keep the attention of us vetrans.

I can understand that the PS3 would be bundled with a pad, seeing that its the first DDR entry to the PS3, however let us hope they don't bundle the 360 with the pad, even if they did they should still give the consumer a choice to whether or not to buy the bundle or the game itself. In all seriousness Konami this is getting old.

"Oh god what I have dooooone?!"
Hey it just means you'll have more control boxes to mod your homebrew pads or cobalt fluxes to...
I'm sure as hell not wasting one of my universe pads unless it either dies or I get a spare. Smile (And I'm certainly not soldering to a controller that costs 60-80 dollars to replace, haha)

You know i wish they would announce an official date already, Amazon has different estimated release dates for the two versions.
11-12-10 (ps3) and 11-2-10 for the (Wii). I'm tired of wondering when i'm going to be playing this game Laughing Out Loud

Screenshots or something would be nice to i would enjoy something new to cling to Cry
