There was even an Akira reference in Yuni's master mode, I doubt he will be in the game, but there is hope for the AC! Also, they seem to have all the original SN outfuits XD

To be honest, I'm disappointed when it comes to the song list. From what I can see there's over 15 songs that are from SuperNOVA 2, which is why I bought SN2 JP. I'm seriously considering waiting for the JP DDR X. I dunno though, it could be a while, and I did preorder it so I'd have to go through the trouble of returning it...

Gahh Switch is my favorite SN2 song.. should I get the game just for that song? <: O Well ok I like Poseidon and Why Not too.. but still!

PS: I'm not putting spoiler on that because it is default songlist.

So, bad news for Silenttype and other editors. Edit mode is the same as in SN2, at least as far as my cursory inspection can tell. The buttons for changing to 8th and 16th placement don't also switch to 32nds or 24ths.
You still cannot place any non 12th arrows in a triple (12th) area. And no 12th freezes.
I didn't see any way to place shock arrows, and the Challenge chart for Dub-I-Dub I imported had them removed.
Konami doesn't care about people who make edits. Go cry on the ddr community site where they might hear.

i've got it. went to pick up rockband 2 and they had a ton on the shelf so i grabbed it. they had game only and bundles at gamestop.

the 2008 X-edits are nothing more than new edits of the song, with the charts based on the original charts. boys is modeled after boys maniac from 2nd mix, butterfly is modeled after butterfly oni on extreme, dub-i-dub is s mash-up of both the original maniac steps and the new ones from 4th+(its also my favorite of the x-edits so far). in other words, i told ya so.

Oh, and there aren't really any hard charts on the default list, so be prepared to slog through 3s and 4s on SMM for a while.
I wish it would let me use options like scroll speed in SMM, and music x2.
