noticed: its the first time that a US licence is absent from top 30 (e-AMUSE) from the beginning.

Wrong.

I knew that was gonna bite me in the ass. I'd consider that to be the US, when have we ever got an European license recently? (2008-present = none) Tongue

Like, you mean a song that was only popular in Europe, as opposed to European artists being successful in North America? Well... Novaspace's cover of Time After Time was never popular in North America to my knowledge.

But that's not on the Top 30 so that's not even relevant. Tongue

I dunno, you guys got Everytime We Touch in UNIVERSE 1 (fixed) and Can't Stop The Rain in DDR SN2.

Did EU get both? Nope.

Indeed it's not. You'd think that a Eurodance club smash'd go down like a treat over here, but no. That said, the licences were OK.

20. MAX 300

this never seems to drop off the top 30 for some reason.
I believe it's because it's one of the easier songs to use to get a high stream value for the My Groove Radar, just like how Dynamite Rave Air Special is on there.

Or it is because it is the first 10-footer and one of the easiest out of them. >>

if its because its an "easy" 10 (lol easy) where the hell are sakura, chaos, paranoia survivor, and other 10s that are easier or as hard as max300?

It's not really the easiest 15. I find it harder than NGOHeavy and Saber Wing Headshot remixHeavy.

i know that. the database doesnt work on my phone, is sakura a 13 or 14 on the x scale? normally i would look things up before running my mouth, but i'm almost positive sakura and paranoia survivor are both 14s, and that 14-18 are where all the old 10s went in ratings.

It's a 13, had they made it a 14 there would be controversy lol.

Paranoia Survivor is a 14, and yeah all old scale 10's are at least a 14, but not all new 14's would be worthy of a 10 rating on the old scale, just really hard 9's.

EDIT: Well Genom Screams D-Heavy was a 10 in Extreme, but its now a 12 lol.

Genom Screams was a 10? I thought it was a 9? Or are we talking about the AC?

i see, thanks for letting me know/doing my research for me. genom screams d-Heavy... i think the same thing happened with that as uranus s-Challenge where it was rated before the chart was written, then it never got changed. genom screams has that awesome beginning, but after that its just a 9-foot crossover run.

and i'm not trying to derail the thread with this, but its a good thing that not all 14s would be a 10 old scale. its bridging that gap. it was a huge complaint back in the day. you went from so deep/HVAM/cartoon heroes/sakura to paranoia survivor in difficulty. sakura was as hard as the 9s, but not enough to teach you how to do something like paranoia survivor. i even knew guys who passed max300 before paranoia survivor on extreme (IE they werent playing when we didnt have PS and just max300) because NOTHING taught you how to crossover like that. more and more songs seem like they teach you how to do crossovers for paranoia survivor, pure speed for max300, OMGWTFBBQROFL for the PSMO run, etc yet we have a gap that nothing teaches you how to pas an 18. those low end 14s are a god send to those learning how to pass 10s today, no more playing HVAM until you had max300 stamina.

This argument seems somehow familiar.
