I do.

Haven't played it yet.

Why would that be?
I stole DDR X2 CS from the internet; it's my fault the music game genre is dying.

I couldn't even Start the game because my Wii's sensor bar burnt out.

I do not have a Classic Controller.

Find two candles, light them, and put them on a shelf or something. That will act as a temporary sensor bar. (no joke, look it up)

LondonEVOLVED isn't bad, but am I the only one that thinks it's far simpler than any other EVOLVED song so far? Like how at least 2 versions of it are 14s at best...

Are you looking at the Heavy or Challenge charts? The Heavy charts are rated 14s; the Challenge charts are rated 15s.

Someone did already. They're not line-outs, but the audio is clear enough.

Harder than L.A. EVOLVED for sure. The thing is this one has straightforward patterns (read: it has good charts).

Either you have not seen version B or you don't understand how hard it actually is. I think B Challenge is a tad under-rated (probably should be a 16). The ending is the equivalent of 16th notes at 210 BPM, which is the third fastest in the game IIRC, behind VD at 240 BPM and Pluto the First at 220 BPM.

It's the fourth fastest:

1st: VD at 240 bpm
2nd: 888 at 222 bpm
3rd: PtF at 220 bpm
4th: L.E. at 210 bpm
5th: A lot of songs (Faxx, Felm, PR, Trigger, Mei, Anti-Matter, New Decade...) at 200 bpm

So out of curiosity, has anyone tried VD Heavy or Challenge on the soft pads?
Just asking for the lulz, I'm not going to bug anyone for a video.

If it counts, once I set up my laptop in front of the TV playing a video of VD Heavy, while I stood on the Wii soft pad and mimicked the steps. (I don't have a USB pad for Stepmania, and I won't be getting this game until Nov. 1).

It actually didn't turn out too bad. Of course there's no way to tell what score I would have gotten, but I've passed Pluto the First Heavy from HP3 on that soft pad, so VD Heavy can't be much harder.

Of course, VD Challenge is another story entirely.

Did you know that the Expert chart for Don't You Want Me contains 2 Konami Codes?

LONDON evolved C is probably the easiest, just because the ending is fairly straightforward. The ending of A just goes for it, and B is one fast mofo. So, C < A < B, in terms of difficulty. Considering only Challenge here.

"Let's Do the Rain Dance"
So I double-checked the ESRB ratings to see what hints we should've gotten before the release.

"A few music videos depict fleeting, sometimes choreographed acts of violence (e.g, a teenager getting punched in the face; men engaged in karate-style dance-fighting; a boxing match)."

The teenager getting punched is from More Than Alive, the karate dance fight is Beautiful Monster, and the boxing match is Somebody to Love, I think.

"Some videos include dancers, dressed in somewhat revealing outfits, who perform suggestive routines (e.g., the silhouette of a couple performing brief pelvic thrusts; bikini-clad women dancing around poles)."

To be honest, I don't remember either of these.

"Some songs include suggestive lyrics (e.g., “I think it's so sexy,” “Get down to business and skip foreplay,” and “In my head I see you all over me.')."

"I think it's so sexy" is from Just the Way You Are, "Get down to business" is from something I can't remember, and the last one is from In My Head, surprise.

I always have the arrows set to "Shuffle"
does that mean that there are some charts which you've never seen the original step placement for?
if so, that's quite interesting, and a great way to improve your sight reading skills and ability to handle awkward stepping

Really now? D: I only use Shuffle because sometimes I'll keep replaying a song until I FC and/or AA the song, and would be bored of redoing the same steps every time. 8D; I guess I'll keep it up then?

Quote: Aegis
The thing with shuffle is that she is doublestepping or spinning in many cases.

Ooh dear, I don't spin. Not confidant enough to face away from the screen even for a second, even on Basic. OTL Double-stepping...um, what is that? D8; I can guess that it is a series of arrows like this?

I think they did that to give it some kind of new video element. :/ Not sure exactly what they were thinking with those shadow clones (lol shadow clones)

They put those instead of extra X2 dancers??? Where's the fun in that considering that HP1 always had dancers in groups of four?

lol shadow clones indeed xD Anyway, I believe there is only one dancer and their clone(s) on screen because of the number of songs on the disc. The short and long versions combined would make quite a file size. o_o; It's not a good excuse for axing the HP characters and/or not bothering to put in the rest of the X2 cast, but eh, what can one do, right? >>

Also, random, but the videos for VD, VANESSA, and Second Heaven are quite creepy. D8
VD has a bunch of Rinons marching into a light, and then centers on the pink Rinon for a bit. Then the BATATATATAA at the end spells out Valkyrie dimension, which was actually kinda cool.

VANESSA is both boring and creepy for me. D8 It's just a painting of Mr. Vanessa (or whoever he is...) with various filters and flames behind him, along with random close-ups to his face. oAo; The creepy part is the close-ups to his face, man.

And Second Heaven's video wouldn't be half as creepy if it weren't for that random guy sitting on the chair looking like an evil boss or something. o_o; The X2 videos aren't bad, but those three there kinda creeped me out a little.

I didn't try Expert, if i did i could MAYBE go halfway until i give up.

I tried Challenge. I got up to the part where the insanely fast stream is and lol'd.

And this is why i love them 83.

VANESSA would have to be my favorite video, if only it made the face when you messed up a combo like it does in IIDX, THAT would have been so worth it Very Happy
