Dancing Stage SuperNOVA2 (PS2) (Europe)

Probably a whole ton of weed because big daddy Japan won't let them have much input.

Well in my opinion Everytime We Touch would be better suited to a PS2 title anyway. Can't Stop The Rain is good but Everytime We Touch just has that much more mainstream recognition.

See this is why I like the Singstar series because London Studio actually know how to pick good songs for the UK audience (I can't really speak for the rest of Europe though), this is something Konami just don't care enough to improve.

I must admit Shout isn't really one of favourite licences in Dancing Stage Max although to be fair it easily beats around 75% of the ones in SuperNOVA CS.

I think Europe Konami = deaf. Maybe Europe Konami can't recognize which are good songs and which are awful songs. And how ridiculous if they think Shout from Lulu more better than Golden Sky from Smile.dk.

Well, they have to cater to each market, although for some reason about half of the European licenses from DS Max onwards were from the 80's back.

Lulu's "Shout" was awful. Isley Brothers' original was much better.

Max's <80s count: 7/20
SN's <80s count: 1/10

It seems that there's a link towards the proportion of 80s licences and how much I like the game!

I actually would've liked to see Locomotion in DDR, especially after hearing the cover on the Dance Maniax 1st mix soundtrack. The other three...not so much.

My favorite "mainstream" songs are mostly from the mid-late 90's and early 00's. Newer music is half rap and R&B, and older music is...well, older.

Although really, I like that era because that's when I started listening to music all the time. The first thing you see is best because you're used to that, but you stop liking it when it changes and anything that precedes it seems too slow (for lack of a better word, although it could fit).

Now I prefer Konami original music.

Now bosses songs have unique style each others, from ultra speed like Fascination MAXX until ultra confusing like CHAOS and Pluto. I never hear licensed songs such like that (Maybe So Deep that ultra complex song).
