Go back to the default SM5 theme, pick a song and go into options. Turn off Pro Timing and finish the song or lose it, do not escape from it. Then go back to the DDR A theme and that should be done. The difficulty in the results screen still uses the names of the difficulties that the default SM5 theme uses. I don't think there's any way to have mines increment score when being avoided in StepMania. I am hoping that those sounds are added soon though.
On another note, I can confirm that the Screen Filter does always work as long as a song has a background video, but when a song has no video and the Background Animations play (videos from the Random folder in Screen Gameplay Underlay), the Screen Filter will not show up.

I'm supposed to have the Step judgement (Marvelous, Perfect, etc.) during game play, but ended up with some bar with a number telling me how close i was.
How do I fix that?
Like NicolasNRG said, turn off the ProTimming option from default theme.How do I fix that?
Quote: DDRHottestPlayer
Also I'm playing this on expert, but on the screen evaluation at the end, it says the level is named "Hard".
That's my fault (Again) cleaning the Language files, I've deleted the difficulty string, I'll restore them later
Quote: DDRHottestPlayer
For Shock Arrows/Mines, how do make it as an increment of one step after avoiding each one of those? (Like in DDR X-present)
That is not a toggleable option in stepmania, is custom score script related I was thinking Inori has covered it.Quote: DDRHottestPlayer
There is NO "Characters" Option in DDR A (except when using device/computer to change your e-amusement setting)
Stepmania doesn't use E-Amuse system

Quote: DDRHottestPlayer
And yes, I did put the new music wheel change only on mine, however the following sounds are either missing or incorrect:
* Difficulty Change
* Folder Open/Close
* Select Options
I will check that later, I haven't updated any sound from the first versions * Difficulty Change
* Folder Open/Close
* Select Options

------------------------
Today fixes:
-Restored difficulty names.
-Removed characters option.
Last hour update:
Finished battery lifes!

All I could get you is the picture of the EXTRA EXCLUSIVE folder.
Could you folks be more specific on what photos should be needed for the theme?

Just thought I'd make a quick post about a few bugs -
1) Playing with the reverse scroll options has some spacing issues

2) Profile names don't seem to "stick" - I think (?) SM is actually saving profile stats, but I wasn't able to get the "Offline" indicator to change.
Other than that, great work! Thanks for all of the effort.

Yes, when the lifebar is redone, the actual lifebar is not the final version, it need to be recoded.Quote: DDRHottestPlayer

2) The theme is not showing profile names, the network indicator changes when you connect to a Stepmania server, but the theme is not prepared for Net Play

Sorry about the delay on the theme updates, I'm very busy with the University works, I will fix some things this weekend, and when I'm on vacation I will dedicate some time to complete the simulation experience, meanwhile I just can only fix some bugs

Profile Picker and Countdown isn't ready yet?
Btw, I amazed this theme really well simulated DDR, its combo counts GOOD judgements, and its combo color follow the containing combo's judgement, not overall judgement (I missed, but it colored greenish because it contain GREAT judgement).

Maybe this information would be of use to you:
If someone has a video capturing device for Ace, you can get the background by having slow internet.
I was at DnB Hollywood, and the background would stay for minutes after the result screen because of the wifi constantly trying to connect.
There is footage of it happening, but im not sure where, but it has to do with the game connecting to the internet to refresh the games data such as scores and extra savior and stuff.
Hopefully this can improve the theme greatly

We should add in massive network lag to really give you that arcade accurate experience If someone has a video capturing device for Ace, you can get the background by having slow internet.

Lol I havent thought about it. Could be a possibility, but I don't live in the USA or know someone that can capture the videos from the arcade

Not now, the basic theme still needs some work after add the profile support. Yes, the DDR combo behavior is nice, still have a little bug

I will have some free time the next week, I will try to fix some bugs, and try to finish the graphics for the extra savior animations
-----------------------------
A little bugfix report:
-Updated fullcombo animation, now with correct positioning of most of the elements (still misses some things)
-Updated GameplayOut time to let us check the full combo animation before the doors close

Yeah, looks so nice in a TV at doubleres
seems a real arcade
-----------------
In some news, I've fixed the bug of the fullcombo splash showing when you lose using battery lifes or another condition, it only will be shown if the stage is cleared at fullcombo.

Guys, I found that when playing Versus Play on DDR A,
The sound effects of:
*Change/Select Difficulty
*Select Options
*Confirm
*Getting a Full Combo
They only sound on either stereo speaker when any of the events above occur.
The left side of the sound speaker for P1
The right side of the sound speaker for P2
*Sound effect is lowered by half if your sound is on Mono
They probably did this to remove blaring the sound and that it's not too noisy.
Is that possible to do that here in stepmania?
The Change Difficulty is already on there.

The sounds that I use are from PS2 DDRX rips as far I can remember, I will check later the 2014 AC version sounds, it could be possible, just using an audio editor, I've noticed that from the difficulty sound I will check the other sounds. Thanks for the tip.

Where can I find noteskins for this? In particular would like the DDR note version. Also would be great if you could recreate A's selection wheel with the album art grid layout
