played on it only cause there were 4 credits in the machine and no person who they belong to... only nice score:

Had to stomp on the Pads like an elephant and still got 2 misses...okay, first one was maybe really me...but I think a good Pad should have still reacted...

It's been a while since I've posted. I played July in July and broke 80%!!!


I also came really close to tri-star-ing Mellow.

I think I'm finally good enough for posting a few pictures of my scores in this thread, so here it is :







Done on ITG PS2 and a cobalt flux, custom bar.
I started playing seriously about a month ago, before that I only played DDR. Also I can't connect my PC to my TV screen so I'm kinda stuck on the PS2 version until I buy a flat screen (I have a few nobar scores on I can walk on water and others edits but they're not really worth showing)

Can't view any even if I copy pasted them onto the bar.

I can't pass any 11s, so you're at least better than me.

I miss the dedicab. I haven't had much time to play in the last week or two(And it's taking a toll on my stamina and weight) because of family issues. If I could go regularly though, I'd probably have a quad by now, possibly know how to bracket or heel-toe, and maybe pass my first Dragonforce song. The highest I've passed is 12 officials and 2 customs(one of them I haven't passed since January).

If I can hold out for one more year though, the college I'm going too has an ITG Stepmania cab, but it isn't a dedicab, but it is still better then the ITG PS2 game.

I was about to pass it on keyboard before I Injured one of my Hands...
It felt easier than my hopeless try of Operation Evolution....but it will take all stamina you have...and all stamina you maybe don`t have.
You should just try how far you can go through this song

I sightread a bunch of 10's from the Fort Rapids V pack, scores ranged from roughly 61% to 74% except I broke 86% on one. I failed Cave Drips because I struggle with crossovers, especially with a bunch of minesT_T

There's really no need for anyone here to believe that "everyone is better than me" considering how many people can't even handle more than novice. And Silver Spirit is not the only one here who cannot pass 11's.

I hate going down this road, but you were better than me, this year I'm definitely not in my prime haha.

Blame the elitists lol, they're the ones that make the lower players feel like shit instead of helping them and giving them encouragement. Thanks to those fuckers I've stopped uploading YouTube vids (that and I've stopped playing ITG, I only play DDR when I have access to a good machine). That said, you're absolutely right, I berated myself so hard today when playing X2 yet I doubt most people there couldn't pass any 10s, let alone get a high A if not a AA on something. I should honestly chill out and so should everyone else, when you play to be the best or to appease the elitists, it's no longer a game, it's an obsession.

That's EXACTLY why I avoid AIJ like the plague (I lurk on it from time to time but that's besides the point). If people keep up this destructive, elitist attitude the community will be completely dead. And this is coming from someone who's used to being a lone wolf and not a community member.

Land of Imagination and Soapy Bubble are horrible charts, so don't worry, you're not missing anything if you can't pass 'em. Walking on Fire is quite fun until you hit the ending, I used to fail there a lot.

DancingNinja, I don't think you or anyone else should let elitists no elitist or anyone else has the right to prevent you or anyone from enjoying the game or sharing personal accomplishments. Having fun or otherwise enriching one's personal experience is the number one priority when playing this game and posting any scores or videos one pleases. Personally, I don't care about being better than others, I just want to improve. Elitists are not worth not ignoring -- there are no grammatical errors in this sentence;) Any elitist nonsense that persists is harassment, which is punishable by law if I am not mistaken.

You do have a point about Soapy Bubble, though -- I guess the chart is a lot trickier than it looks, nice song though. I think the only reason I failed Walking on Fire is because I my movements are so awkward -- it wasn't draining at all. I really should be able to pass it, I actually passed Kahu the same day. I have trouble moving and maneuvering on arcade pads because I don't get to play arcade regularly since the closest In The Groove cabinet from my current residence is nearly a two-hour drive.

I'm pretty sure there's sod all they can do unless the laws in one's country/state allow for such a course of action. Even if that were the case I'm more of a vigilante anyway, I don't go down without a fight.

There ya go then! I found Kahu pretty easy, I passed it first time on my CF last year. Unlike WoF it does give you a nice break until the ending runs, WoF doesn't really give you much of a break lol.

Same here buddy, though in my case the cabinet is an upgrade. Has nice pads and an amazing HD screen, but it crashes with memory cards especially on customs.

Soapy Bubble is really hard.
It`s one of the 3 ITG official 10s I still can`t pass (the other 2 are VerTex and Disconnected Hyper) .
I had an Idea how to practice it but couldn`t do cause I had to quilt playing cause of my neighbors.

The Idea was practicing it on low ratemods like I did for oasis. And when I can do it lets say on 0.5 or 0.6 without any techinical mistakes then slowly increase the rate.
It perfectly worked for Oasis and I think it would do for Soapy Bubble.

I know Soapy Bubble doesn`t look that hard...but especially the 2nd half of the song is full of hard crossovers and such stuff....


The End of Walking of Fire is hard too, lot of crossovers. I can do it only cause I got fast at doublestepping...and that last run isn`t to long.

I'm sorry my post was misinterpreted, I just felt my previous scores were uninteresting for myself and others to record and display, as I was quickly improving and I knew I could easily do better.

There's nothing wrong with posting "low" scores and being cheered up, you can always find someone better or worse than you

My next big objective is Dokudenpa as only one other people cleared it in my local area, but I'll need more training on 12s and 13s as I still lack stamina and my footwork isn't efficient enough yet. I'm proud of my fast progress though !

Well, if not legal action, there must be something -- the least we could do is get them kicked out of the arcade if it persists, youtube comments can be deleted or marked as spam, and on forums we can appeal to moderators and/or administrators to issue warnings or bans if necessary. Never let the bad guys push you around;)
