Back even in the SuperNOVA days, the ENCORE EXTRA STAGE was not the hardest song in the game, so they had to enforce mods to make it more of a special combo challenge than anything else. Since SuperNOVA2, ENCORE EXTRA STAGE generally includes the hardest songs in the game, so getting a full combo on those songs regardless is quite an achievement. Though I do feel they should disable the CUT and JUMP mods on ENCORE EXTRA STAGE...

I got some good play time today. Got quite a few videos as well with most of them being PFCs which i prefer.

HiSpeed is only able to be changed before the chart appears.

in the movie, the player uses CUT2 on Sakura Sunrise.

It doesn't allow to get 7 or 8 greats more to get AA

Ugh Valkyrie Dimension was looking great until the end of that video. There's no reason the BPM had to be doubled there :[ All it does is force me to play on 1.5x and read slow arrows for 90% of the song. Or maybe the ending is easy to memorize, like VerTex. I hope it is.

Also, that pattern at the end is looking a little too familiar HDVO

KEWL! I really like the style, not what I was expecting judging from the CD cover.

Intentional or not, I like how Sakura Sunrise is a cheat code for to listen to Valkyrie Dimension. Granted, you have to AA the other 5 songs without cheating but it's a neat trick. I don't think Jump Off 1 would help either.

It's almost like they knew you could "cheat" your way to the EES so they added the Bad Maniacs ending. (VD (CUT2) could be a 15. :O)

Your going to have to be a lot more specific. And yes I'm on an upgraded SN1 cab.

Pictures might help and additonally what do I do after I get the RCA jack? Do I need a computer, flashdrive, hard drive? I need more infor cause I have never done a line out and have no clue where to start.

Oh, what? You mean Konami may actually mess with the speed of the chart to throw people off who are too dependent on speed mods? That's certainly not a legitimate way making a chart harder. All songs must be CMODed! Get used to reading arrows at all speeds and you won't have a problem ;) And the chart at the end of HDVO is a bit rougher. It goes LULURURURLDLDRDRD the transition of the upper cross overs to lower cross overs is more evil in HDVO.

It's a bullshit way of adding difficulty. It's not so bad when most of the chart is at double BPM (like Unlimited/legend) but when most of the chart is 185 BPM with 16th notes, I'd like to read it at 3x because that's my comfortable speed. I can read 1x just fine, but it's just annoying and not fun (wait, dancing games are about fun? Nowai!). I can read Bag on .5x and A Geisha's dream on 5x. My limit is about 720 BPM (scrolling speed), making 2x on this too fast. But at the same time, I like reading above 550 BPM.

For some reason, I remember it starting on LDLD. It doesn't, but I haven't played the chart in forever, so w/e. It's still pretty similar and I'll be waiting to see if it bursts into a crossover-fest.

I'd rather memorize how to step a specific pattern ("digital storm" part of Leading Cyber or the "Afronova walk", for example) than a whole section of a song due to it being "unreadable" at the speed mod of choice. It's not that bad since it's, well, the final song and it's meant to be a challenge. Konami has NEVER been know for spoon-feeding charts to players who just disconnect their brain and bar rape the shit of whatever is thrown to them, so stop acting like it's the first time.

BTW, I don't think I have mentioned it before, but I REALLY like what I've seen of X2 AC so far. I have been pretty away from the dancing games scene lately, but I'd love to see this game make it to american shores in some sort of playable form.

Well, it seems VD has some Max(period)-esque BPMs to it then.
