I'm worried too that their will be no more custom themes. I was actually looking forward to that.

Did anyone hear the announcer in the game? Is it the same as the X/X2 announcer?

I am to quite worried about the custom themes. I do not think we will be able to change the themes unless they make a DLC.

Is the announcer on the new game the X/X2 announcer. I hope not, at least bring back the SuperNOVA announcer.

Honestly, I'm praying for Thomas Howard since (despite how dated his original phrases would be, and if he's still with Konami), most of us (or just me) know that Londell Hicks (DDRMAX-SN2 announcer) was last spotted at Square Enix. But I would ask for Londell Hicks if he's in good relations with Konami (hey, they got Namco's Motoi Sakuraba to remix a tune for Otomedius Gorgeous' DLC).

This. Though honestly, pretty much anything is an improvement from the X/X2 announcer.

I miss the old school announcer (Well, not "old school" but for the DDRMAX, Extreme, SuperNOVA series), but PureBlue's right about the X/X2 announcer, he just sounds...out of place, for a lack of better words that i can't think of now. I wish we could have one of the old announcers back again, but i'll gladly take any other announcers at this point.

From what I remember, there was no announcer at all in the PS3 demo.

...speaking of which, I just watched my video again... combos are kept when you get a good, and the combo count turns blue. O_o

Let's hope there's A LOT of options we can change. To the point where it can at least look like a traditional DDR gameplay look.

I'd be one of the first in line to buy that. Speaking of themes, it would be cool if they made themes of older DDR games. It would certainly be interesting

The DDR X announcer doesn't bother me that much, but please, just DON'T have him sing in the middle of a combo.

It would be nice to hear the Pre-DDRMax announcer once again.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind being able to choose your announcer.

DDR 1st mix - 5th Mix
DDR Solo / Extra Mix
DDRMAX - Supernova 2
DDR Ultramix - Ultramix 4
DDR Universe - Universe 3
DDR X - DDR X2

...or you can just get away with no announcer by selecting a "none" option. But what's the fun in that?

And you should be able to change the theme:

DDR 1st mix - 3rd mix
DDR 4th Mix
DDR 5th Mix
DDRMAX
DDRMAX2
DDR Extreme
DDR Festival
DDR Strike/Extreme 2
DDR Supernova
DDR Supernova 2
DDR X
DDR X2 US

Or, yet again, you can stick with the default theme, but who would want to do that?

At least if I could change it, I'd probably change it to Strike or Extreme.
